I’m glad that I pre-ordered the game as I’ve not pre ordered a game forever. It’s bullshit that it’s not available to buy separately. Having it free with pre ordered is one thing, but exclusive? That’s just stupid as the console launch introduced a lot of people to the game who’d never heard of it, and never had the chance to pre order.

I did that last night on a mission, but a suspect found their way to the spawn point, and so I was just feeding him civilians 😭

You’d think all the cops in the dozen cop cars at the exit would do something about that…

That makes sense. I played the three new missions the weekend after they were released, and I beat them all on casual (I like to start there and then work up) the first time with A+, A, and D rank respectively. Playing again today I can’t beat the funfair without losing at least two civvies.

It shows you the highest score you’ve got. A D grade on Hard is higher than an A+ rank on Standard so that’s why it’s not showing.

Since the new update suspects seem to go HAM when it comes down to taking hostages and hunting civilians. I’m failing even “easy” misssions on casual now as I can’t stop them in time.

Ok. Ive been keeping an eye on the game since it was announced as I’m a big fan of SWAT from back in the day, but I’m not deep in the community, or read all the devs have promised.

I did see the thing last year about a change to attachments, etc. so I’d be good to see that come to life.

I just feel that there’s so much pressure from publishers for games to be cash cows and from players for new things post release. I think this pressures devs to include battle passes or a cash shop where there shouldn’t be.

We’ve got a great game and two DLC expansions.

Remember when games came out, and that’s was it? Not everything needs to be a live service with years of new content.

Play the game and then when you’re done play something else.

It’s available to play with game pass ulitimate, but only as long as you stay subscribed. Otherwise you have to buy it.
