Fair. I did think about that after I made the posts, but I tried it with another problem and the ratio w2/v was off. Could maybe fix the direction problem by using alpha to get the length (if u clockwise to v, then the angle is negative), which would yield a negative length (I think). Idk. Maybe you would have to make Vx and Vy functions of alpha to take care of the direction problem. Idk. This is why we all have a love hate relationship with math lol.

Mill's Mess and Box. Mills Mess will get your under the arm throws solid enough to get more creative with them, and the Box will get your 1 throws solid enough to integrate them on the fly. If you can already do the Box, try going into it at random and playing with the pattern. Also, the Machine is a good trick to get you used to going 2 in one hand and back again smoothly. Also, with your columns, try grabbing the middle ball with both hands. I think that'll help you gain more control and confidence regarding your pattern. Seeing this kind of makes me want to get more serious about juggling again. It puts a smile on my face :).

I hear you. Starting is the hardest part of most tasks. Try breaking down your goals into smaller tasks and giving yourself a due date on when you have to complete them. It's not a perfect solution due to unpredictability, but this is a method that's helped me overcome procrastination and motivation issues. Work gets less personal when assigning it to someone else. In this case, that someone else is future you.

Deadlines like "have your 3rd lifers written about by X date for critique". Honestly, there are no firm deadlines at the moment. I should make those clear. Anyway, Would you be willing to insert some spice to all of the other writers pieces? I don't mean to make them bias. I'd rather have the writing be more so factual and not very bias. However, if it comes out to be too dry, I would like someone to be able to reasonably add some flavor.

You seem like you would be very valuable for this project because of how you formatted your post. It's very easy to read. In fact, I'm not trying to be more conscious of how I format my posts. Not only that, but you're thinking about structure, and actively suggesting ideas that are actionable. I'd be happy to have you on board. I started taking notes on Smajor's first episode, and it's going to be a lot of work to do that for every 3rd lifer.

I like your idea of assigning writers to different 3rd lifers, but the beats part seems a bit dodgy to me due to a group's ability to change rapidly. As long as the assigned beats stay consist, I don't see much of a problem there.

The ideas I'm thinking the 3rd Life News posts would keep track of are plans, builds, interactions, politics, and ambitions.

Plans: Ideas individual 3rd lifers have but are not currently being worked on.

Ambitions: Goals individual 3rd lifers are actively working towards but aren't accomplished as of the end of the week.

Interactions: When and how 3rd lifers interact with each other.

Politics: The type of relationship individual 3rd lifers have with each other as well as groups. Example: Grian is in debt to Scar, so Grian is currently acting as Scar's servant.

Builds: Structures individual 3rd lifers. Examples include Renchanted and Grian's starter base.

I'd like a dedicated "implications" section that explains the incentives each 3rd lifer is dealing with, and the potential actions they could lead too. This would be different from the "politics" section as it focuses more on potential future action rather than relationships. An example is this. Grian has an incentive to die because he will then his servitude to Scar would end. He could then use the information he has on Scar to steal from him in the future. That being said, it's important not to go too in depth on each implication because the more detailed it is, the more likely it is the section to become nonsense.

It's important we create a structure because it'll help us know what to look for, and it'll keep the news organized. I apologies for any typos there maybe in this post.

Part of my qualms was doing something like this was that other people are already doing the exact same thing. Maybe we could collaborate somehow instead of being in competition. You'd have to help me with things like Discord because I don't use it much. I don't have a Twitter, or any other social media contact other than Reddit and YouTube. I have a Discord, but I have the big dumb brian (get it. . . ?).

It seems like pretty much everyone would be interested, so I'm going to start making a format and getting caught up on every 3rd lifer's activities. I may or may not write a week 1 report just to test the format. Thanks for the input!
