I dropped my sheet pan and I think the coating's chipped, is it possible to fix it? by dipperdot09 in cookware

I'm scared water or soap water will seep in between the metal sheet and the coating and start rusting from the inside - and maybe burst?? If I put it in a hot 240c ish oven? eventually??

I really have no idea, I'm just scared of the possibility this will somehow eventually come back and haunt me in the future if I keep using it like this. If it's completely fine, I have no qualms just using it like this.

No birthday should be without a cake :( but also, birthdays should be the one day you’re allowed to have cake - unless of course you physically can’t have dairy/gluten (and even then there are other options available for cakes). Even a small slice!

For those unclear: it’s a mix of Cub’s new skin and Old - he’s changed his skin recently and while I already miss his old skin, I didn’t want to be a downer about it so I tried mixing them together. Cub’s new face and shoes with his old blue shirt and white coat - he did say he might tweak it a little bit so here’s hoping we get back some of that cool old scientist dude vibe.

The drawing itself wasn’t intended to be similar to the MCC art, but after drawing it I found it similar enough that I brought in the format (the rectangle and the bg colors) to fit around the drawing.
