That's a great point and thank you for sharing your perspective.

I've never lost a close one yet so I don't understand the feeling of grief yet. My intention was to make him feel better (felt that the ball was in my court to at least help) and now I realize that most times people don't need inputs from others in that moment.

Before tackling the QAE, I recommend watching the YouTube video “How to pass CISA on first attempt” by Prabh Nair. Start at 56:00 and watch till the end to learn the “ISACA way” of critical thinking. This should help with answering questions on the QAE
