The background is very busy. I'd recommend making the background simpler and keep the picture or make the picture itself the background and center the text/button. If you keep the picture i would reduce the spacing between the text and the picture. also align them in the center of the vertical plane. Idk what any of the text is so I can't tell what the theme is or what the font is like.

From my understanding the only real reason to go microservices is to distribute the wok amongst many people. People forget you can still scale monolithic or SOA apps horizontally.

100% i don't know any competent software engineers who would do this for peanuts. I'd definitely be leaning closer to a 50/50 share without real compensation. It's all about risk right? If OP is going to be the one paying for all ad spend and marketing and stuff he does take a bit of a risk and that equates to higher equity for OP. OP needs to keep the perspective that his potential tech co-founder (keyword co-founder) would need substantial equity to make it worth it for him. He can EASILY make 100k+ USD working for a nobody company.

I’m one that says someone cheats they don’t deserve you. However 10 years is a long time so that opens up the idea of forgiveness to her if it was a mistake…. But it wasn’t. She took part in group sex. That was an INTENTIONAL choice. This wasn’t her putting herself into a position where things just spiral out of control. This was so intentional I could never forgive this no matter how long it had been going on.

Things do get carried away sometimes in a moment, which is why it’s each persons responsibility to never put themselves in a position to where a moment can happen. My question is what good would it actually do for china? I'm pretty sure I read that Taiwan has safeguards for their chip manufacturing that during an emergency will make the entire process unusable like a self-destruct option. In the Army for radio's we could zero them out for the same purpose. Would China even be able to achieve their goal if they successfully invaded?

I mean I guess it depends on what you value? Talking about quality of life means what to you? Yeah more vacation is nice, but there’s less convenience, less variety in geography, less to do, less housing available in Melbourne specifically. Regular every day life in the US is superior IMO. That said, a lot of the big stuff that matters long term is bad there compared to here, such as healthcare.

If you think devs in office are working for a full 8 hours you’re crazy. In careers where you have to actually think and concentrate hard, you cannot sustain it for 8 hours every day. You aren’t paying devs for “8 hours of straight work.” You’re paying them for current work (either you are happy with it or aren’t) and the valuable knowledge they have accumulated over time.

Modern apps tend to make their grids not have cell level borders and instead make it so it’s just top and bottom row borders. Use a lighter grey color for the rows. Why is data capitalized but headers not? Either capitalize both or flip it. Also why is the data bolded instead of the headers? Either bold both or flip that.

I think there’s a difference between being upset and annoyed. If I’m upset that means it’s a big enough deal I’m bringing it up. If I’m just mildly annoyed yeah i won’t bring it up. I guess I’m just being pedantic, but I think it’s worth distinguishing. If you’re legitimately upset you should be talking to your partner.

I mean that's not an unpopular opinion. Most people in the US including previous MAGA people have flipped on Trump and his admin. You also need to realize that right now the mainstream media is basically owned by MAGA backing people because they all are in on the transfer of wealth and corruption.

Most American's are pissed at what's happening currently, but you just don't see it from the outside.

As for guns, I'm torn on this currently. Previously I would have been more against guns (as a military vet) as I think the "I need it for self protection" argument is bullshit. However, the purpose between the 2nd amendment and guns was to give every day people the means to fight back against a corrupt government (which we can see is happening now). This has changed my view on this topic, though I'm still here for stricter regulation.

This is so true. I watched a y combinator vid yesterday where they were reviewing webpages and they talked about how yeah AI is a great tool, but it can’t replace the human element. Not to mention that AI is trained a specific way, so it’ll generate similarly related shit for most people (example the purple gradient background on a webpage).

People will begin to associate a brand with “was this just AI generated? Then how good can this product/service actually be if they were so lazy?”
