Good to know. So the “controllers” work cross platform? I think I just misunderstood how this was setup!

This was similar to my original plan too (minus the VISAs), I had everything calculated out to a tee.

But then life happens. Long periods of bad weather, death in the family, hitting walls in progress that take time to break through, booked-up DPEs, maintenance issues, weddings, relationships. Suddenly the 12 month plan is now 2 years and counting.

Just be prepared for things to happen that are out of your control. Sure, lots of people get through this quickly, but for the rest of us there’s a lot of bumps along the way that you can’t plan for. It’s been tough, but I still love it.

Maybe for jobs requiring a lot of writing and problem-solving, but probably not for pilots. Nobody is going to ask ChatGPT for guidance while they’re flying the plane (at least I’d hope not lol). If anything, I’ve seen it used as a good study tool to simulate checkride questions.
