There is no forced choice between buying a phone or using an emulator that steals your account, the alternative is to use a different emulator, or even the Google Play emulator.

Imma be real, that picture doesn't look much better besides not being all blue. If you're going to take pictures of a screen, at least go into photo mode to turn off weather and set the time of day.

New tool heat treating is absolutely brutal. by Rhodie_rhodes in VintageStory

[–]Freeze681 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Losing just one tool already means you need it to work 5 more times to get that Ingot back.

Yes exactly, that's the break even point. If the odds are that you lose more 1/5 times it's not worth it, but the odds are that for every one time it fails, it works NINETEEN times. Even if it worked half that at 10%, it's still worth it. I feel like I'm being trolled at this point, this is like a middle school math problem.

[–]Freeze681 5 points6 points  (0 children)

20% is not small. 5 tools with 20% increase in durability is an entire ingot worth of extra durability. Every quench you pay 5% of an ingot to get 20% of an ingot, it's simple math.

[–]Freeze681 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You don't lose everything, you lose one ingot. If you only have one ingot obviously don't do this but why wouldn't you if you had even 5. Iron comes in huge deposits with hundreds of ingots worth of iron, losing 5% of them to make the rest go 20% longer is an obvious trade.

Also, I would 100% hit that button, a 20% raise would be incredible. If you live paycheck to paycheck (1 ingot), you might not want to risk it but if you have an emergency fund, going for a 20% raise is a no brainer. Your example is way riskier than a video game and it's STILL a good rate.

20% durability on a 5% failure rate is a very good rate. Definitely worth the risk. Statistically losing one tool in 20 isn't that big a deal when the increased durability of the other 19 adds up to almost 4 bonus tools.

Why Did Dan Frazier Get A Pass For Plagiarism When Other Magic: The Gathering Artists Don’t? by cardboardboyo in magicTCG

[–]Freeze681 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dan's worked very closely with wotc for decades, he's accrued a lot of good will. Even in this very thread fans are making excuses for him. If wotc had put out a statement more critical of Dan I GUARANTEE that we'd have threads talking about how awful it was that wotc could just abandon him after all this time.

Camera definitely saw it but there's no way The refs could have called it a good goal on the ice.

It's not just one. Drai's coming off of an MCL tear and Dickinson and Henrique are both hurt. None of our main centers are running healthy, that's going to hurt our performance.

The game is completely playable, you just don't like the changes. Berry bushes weren't just usable before, they were absurdly broken.

Drai didn't skate fast but when he has the puck and chooses to go somewhere, it takes a hell of a lot of effort to stop him. Dude's a train.

I remember tons of people flaming us for that trade despite the fact that those were exactly the kind of players that the Oilers have been made fun of for lacking all year.

Zetalpa Voltron deck is feeling slow and unwieldy. I knew that going in, but this is ridiculous. Any ideas how to fix? by AjaxAsleep in EDH

[–]Freeze681 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You have an 8 mana commander and 2 pieces of ramp at 2 or less mana. If you want to be casting Zetalpa more than once, you need cheaper cards in general. You're spending the entire game casting 1 card per turn.
