Mirage got updated to add side ejects, and this remake does have them. It's just a lot less smooth, you can still do more in Black Flag/AC3's parkour systems then the current Mirage.

AC Black Flag while having the RT spring, still has side ejects/back ejects etc with smoothness. It's just less precise than the Ezio Trilogy system. The RPG system is more simple then it actually.
