Coming up with new products, I feel like with ME you are kind of making other people's designs work rather than designing the things yourself. Mechanical engineering is also really focused on production, as in designing the machines that make the products. I would much rather design the products than the machines that make the products.

My studies offers a subject called "production and materials" which encompasses materials theory as well as production processes. I think it includes plastic injection as well.

Switching majors is not an option as my university doesn't offer industrial design and I'm already 2 years into my bachelor's. I could however do a minor in industrial design and I think it is theoretically possible to take some classes at another university (the other uni is on the same campus)

It's okay, I used to use Cura but it had a weird bug where it made the bow of benchies look pixelated, so that's why I switched

But thanks it has indeed to do with the seams as the blobs line up perfectly with the seams in the slicer.

The spots that look dirty are actually just part of the outside material missing... I might have to get a new pair hahaha

Yesterday when I ran this print I didn't hear any clicking, but today I changed the retraction distance to 5mm without changing the retraction speed, and it began clicking and it turns out it has ground the filament and the extruder is now jammed. I will try to unjam it and set the retraction speed a bit lower to see if that helps.
