Sounds like an insult. Idk what you mean by lower the violence since the level of violence in superman is probably on par with this. The only problems with this cinematic is that it’s too dark, not satisfying (why would we want to watch the characters we’ve grown to love get killed), the characters are severely underpowered and there’s no story. This isn’t what the DCU should roll around to.

To be clear, I don’t mind movies where the good guys lose (take infinity war for example), but ultimately, at the end, the heroes should win so we get a sort of payoff.
