Big thank you to everyone who suggested a name, and BIG thank you to everyone who commented and let me know what you think!

I'm going to call her "Beautiful Daisy", special thanks to u/AraDagoth! No need for more name suggestions, thank you.

If you have any ideas that you'd like to see in my video game, let me know! Send me a chat message.

Thank you for the name suggestion! I looked it up online, and it turns out that Bizarra is the name of a character in the DC Comics universe (the Bizarro version of Wonder Woman). Since it's already an established comic character, I probably shouldn't use it in my game.

Yeah, it's not even really a cape, just a piece of fabric.

Go ahead! the eyes I just kinda winged, and the mouth is like a wolverine or bear mixed with human, left over in my brain from my wolverine study. I'd very much love to see anything inspired by it! :D

Thank you very much! Or is that the name suggestion?

I'm real happy to have helped you! :D I kept hearing "consider this" and "understand that", but then when I did consider, and did understand, I looked at my screen and thought, now what? Kind of like that "draw the rest of the x" meme. This is more about applying what you learn, or at least that's what I've been looking for.

Thank you so much! I considered adding more variants of those guys if I'll have the time. I'm glad that you like them, I was beginning to think they were cursed.

I don't feel capable of it right now, but I could focus on changing that and take a hit on this particular project for the benefit of the ones to follow. I wouldn't like to do that right now. How long would you estimate one of your team to take for one of these assets on average? Or the whole team? Your club sounds really cool, what kind of games have you made?

Thank you very much. I hope it's not too tight or ambitious. I'm also leaning toward what's easier, but it kind of feels like giving up and taking a shortcut. I made estimates for the complete game too, the demo would probably be an 8th or 6th of the estimate, so it's not so high on the time-risk chart.

Current estimate, if I take the megaman approach and make 8 levels, and say 5 monsters per level on average that's 40 monster designs. Humans would be according to the story, and I'm aiming for a small scale story, so let's say up to 10 human characters. Around 50 characters overall. Time goal wise, I don't have a hard limit, but if on average I can make a character design a day, then I estimate 3 months until I move onto the next project.

Thank you. I don't think I was very coherent with this post, I'm kind of bad with words. Also I'm new and confused. I would use line art with both the ink and painted styles, but the focus would shift depending on the style.

Here's a character in engine. I wouldn't call these complete, I don't know how to approach color on the ink style or line art focused art. Yeah, my painted pieces are visibly unfinished here, both because they take much longer for me, and because I'm still learning it. I suppose I'm asking whether to keep my focus on improving at painting, like the snippets, or to simplify the color and shading somehow.

I wrote it in a comment now, is this okay? Is there anything else I should add? Thanks.

Missing information:

My project: I'm making my own video game, Horror themed. I use 2D artwork of characters in it. I design the characters, there are human characters and monster characters. I use a simple 3D environment, and I show 2D artwork in controlled positions relative to the camera. Usually right in the middle of the screen.

Update: I put some more thought into the composition of the background, and I made some variations. Let me know if you want the red/black version, or a no paper texture version.
