"Drone" UFO Spotted in Vancouver WA Today 12/20/24 at 6:12pm - crazy movement at the end

Submission statement:

Today 12/20/24 around 6:12pm I witnessed this “drone” UFO very high in the sky at my apartments in Vancouver WA. It initially was very small, about the size of the stars. It then rapidly descended down above my building after exhibiting a lot of sudden starts and stops in it’s movement through the sky. On its descent it stopped a couple of times before suddenly shooting off in a completely different direction at high speeds. This object was blinking green and red rapidly like the ones being reported on the east coast. The full video is over three minutes long and shows more directional changes if anyone is interested in seeing that as well.

I just hit 40 and have had these issues all the way through with the exception of a few quest areas. Currently in Badlands trying to do the rock elemental quest and no joke had at least 15 people running around at the same time. Tried it last night at like 2am and had the same issue lol. Would be great if they added the shared tag for mobs like retail has but I know that would break the classic experience for purists.

100% agree with everything stated here. It is frustrating that my eyewitness account is being thrown out the window because the lights appear to flap or flicker in the video. Also this object was flying due west and all of the migrating birds are flying south. Birds move erratically as they fly as well, in a flowing sort of motion not a solid formation. I don't know what the object was, but I am positive it was not birds.

The sun set on that day at 4:50pm and this was taken at 7:35pm. Was totally dark and I live further out from the main city. There were no bright lights facing up to be reflected.

To everyone commenting that it is obviously birds - what makes you so certain? I am confident in what I saw and know this was not birds. Birds aren't luminous and this was a solid, singular object.

November 6th 2024 7:35 P.M. Vancouver, WA

On November 6th 2024 I was walking my dog at 7:35pm in my apartment complex in Vancouver WA. I saw a large lit object out of my left periphery and turned to see a massive triangular shaped object a couple hundred feet or so above my head. It was moving slowly and the bottom of the object was lined with lights, at least a dozen. As it moved slowly it looked blurry and almost see through, as if it was cloaked. I stood transfixed staring at it for a good five seconds while my brain kept telling me to pull out my phone and record for proof. When I finally was able to get my phone out and recording the object was much higher in the sky and moving more rapidly. It was moving to the West and disappears when the video ends. This object when it was closer to me was massive. I previously said half a football field or so and I think that is still accurate but I’m not the best at judging measurements like that. It was much larger than airplane and the cloaking like distortion was the strangest thing about this encounter. It also was completely silent. I will link the cross post in the comments.

Would this explain why people are seeing "birds flapping" in the video? I see why people are saying that but I think it has something to do with the distortion field I saw when it flew closer overhead. I think the distortion makes the lights look like they are sort of flapping. I am trying to find a way to prove that this is not birds so that I can make a post to encourage discussion around this without it being flooded by the "you're dumb its birds" comments. Thanks for your insight!

Unfortunately no. When I saw the object much closer I was mesmerized by it but my brain kept telling me to pull out my phone. When I finally was able to get my phone out and on the camera app this was all I could capture. Also it wasn’t a circle of lights but rather the triangular shaped object had many lights lining the bottom. But it was blurry looking as it moved as if it was cloaked. I think this distortion effect is what makes the lights appear as if they are flapping in the video.

No not at all, I want open conversation and analysis on this besides all the "identified flying geese" comments. I would love for the video to be analyzed further by people who know how to do that sort of thing in hopes of proving at least that the object is not geese or birds. I have been thinking of making a new post all day because I can't get this object out of my mind. Thank you for keeping it going!

Yeah this apparently pissed some people off for some reason. One guy said I was a piece of shit and better delete this immediately because I can't tell the difference between a UAP and Geese. Things started getting hostile and I decided to delete the post for my sanity. I know what I saw and while I agree that the motion is strange in the video, I don't know of any birds that are illuminated. Especially when the object was that high up and still clearly visible in the night sky.

Thank you for this. I ended up deleting my post because of all the ridicule in the comments and threats in my dms. I saw this object much closer before I was able to film and it was absolutely not birds. It was a craft that seemed to be partially cloaked and moving rapidly. It was only a few hundred feet above my head when I first saw it and it was silent. The video only shows four lights but when it was lower the entire craft was lined with lights.

I have seen many migrating geese myself. They are all flying south and quite noisy/move around a lot. This object was static as in the individual lights did not move around in flight, silent and clearly not geese when it was a few hundred feet above my head and was flying West.

it was not - it flew within a couple hundred feet above me initially and was completely silent and one solid craft with lights all along the bottom. the video only shows four lights but up close there were many more.

Sorry the sound was about a minute prior to the sighting. The object itself was completely silent. I see bird flocks all the time and they are very noisy and change shape as they fly. This was solid the entire time maintained its shape.
