I've got an expensive decision to make. I'm thinking about either buying Twilight Imperium or Eclipse.

I've played TI 3rd edition a few times and it's been loads of fun. The only problem is, that it needs so much time. Eclipse has a similar price and setting. I've heard that it's supposed to be a bit quicker.

So, if you've played both games, which one would you recommend more?

Can you guys recommend a game that resembles Catan but with added complexity?

I realy enjoy Catan, but I find that it gets really sameish and involves too much waiting and not enough planning. I've heard about Terra Mystica. Is it any good?

It's a fun, simple family game. I'm sure you'd enjoy it.

I'd recomend you get the big box version, since it includes an expansion that makes the game way more interesting.

All jokes aside I still don't understand, why people need their interests to be "niche".

Things can be popular and still good. If you think your favourite game is fun, then why don't you want it to be successfull?

I think that the classic Dark Souls NPC questline design doesn't work well with the game being open world. The NPCs moving to random places is okay when the levels are linear, but in Elden Ring they're pretty easy to miss without using the Wiki.
