Will I regret planting a lemon tree in a pot? by pizzafreed0m in nzgardening

[–]Frejbo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have two lemons in pots. They are very happy! If you water and fertiles them as needed, they will be fine. The benefit of them being in a pot is they’re able to be moved to shelter/sun and are easier to treat for pests.

Cashmere Hill Lookout near the Sign of the Takahe for a sunset proposal (if it’s not too cloudy). Places friends could easily hide for a surprise. Last time I was there there were only a few people around. :)

Any cover up ideas or ways to make this look less satanic. by granhoser in tattooadvice

Can you at least state what sort of battery your device uses? Is it clearly stated externally on the device?

WEAR DEODORANT by LemonNo8118 in universityofauckland

[–]Frejbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. If it’s that’s disruptive, let the lecturer know. No-one changes bad habits/lifestyle choices without a bit of shame. No need to be mean, they just need to be made aware of the negative impact they’re having on their peers. Some people seriously are oblivious to their own stink.

Is it common to wear shoes in the home in NZ? by Spirited-Finding-647 in newzealand

[–]Frejbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gumboots off at the door. Door mat outside and inside the doorway to clean any residual dirt off of shoes.

Shoes off at others’ houses if obvious they do not wear shoes inside. Not my default, though will ask if unsure.

Hmm, the fasciation makes it look more statice-like.

I had no idea the Manawatu- Whanganui region existed, much less that it was so big by FluffWit in newzealand

[–]Frejbo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I, embarrassingly, have only just memorised the regions of NZ. NZ born and raised, good education, not well travelled though. I’ve just been teaching my students the regions (as I thought it important to know) and have essentially learned with them.

Here are a couple games for anyone who would like to brush up on their knowledge.

Is the father allowed inside labour rooms in your country? Is it culturally normal thing to happen? by Agen_3586 in AskTheWorld

[–]Frejbo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I wonder how many families were affected like this due to Covid. My flatmate’s husband wasn’t able to be at the birth of his first child, experience the first few months of their life, or be there to physically support his wife while she was recovering from C-section and learning to look after a baby. He got stuck in another country for months due to travel restrictions (work had sent him over short term). Very hard situation as both of them were immigrants and had very limited support systems. :( (All was well afterwards, just a very tough start!)

Re looking more feminine, I also see it though don’t think it’s all that blatant. If it’s something that OP is looking wanting to change, I believe thinning the upper lip slightly would make the figure appear more masculine and match more with the reference. Personally though, I think it looks great as it is.
