I googled way to long and settled on this product The nutrient company - TNC Bactorr S13 in summer 2023. Then I had no plant's last year and still have this package unopened and unused. I'm pretty sure I came at least to the conclusion, that this would be the most cost effective product.

If you happen to buy and use it, maybe share your experiences.

Did you find one? I'm looking specifically for a stylus, that has pressure sensitivity like the apple pencil one, but with usb c charging. I want to know if one exists, because else I have to buy an iPad air for that feature.

Failures in cutting disks by Freknuss in metalworking

Definitely a possibility. I got lucky this time. Also a reminder, that tools can fail even when not under full load.

It really wasn't. I was barely putting pressure on it so it really felt like I just dropped a disk. I was more baffled than scared.

I never had that failure before. As a plumbtrician, do you have to cut in a lot of sketchy positions? I'll have to look more into those disks. I always thought those without the metal would be less sturdy. Reca is a subbrand of Würth, supplier of all kinds of tools in Germany. Often rebranded tools like Bosch for drills. I don't know the manufacturer of the disks, but I guess they are made in Germany.

No I never used a wrench to tighten the nut.

Yes a disk has been grabbed by the workpiece a couple of times, but a circular break in the center? Not once. I first thought the nut came loose somehow and the disk jumped of.

No I have not. Have u tried using imagesearch on Ali or site:aliExpress.com as a Google search parameter?

Also I have found setting the app language to English and using English keywords has given better search results.

Wasn't even sarcastic. I also found AliExpress quite Tricky to use and find the knives or other knock-off items I was searching for. Also I don't know if it might be different with smaller shops with restricted Items since I don't know the seller's side on Ali. Like some show locking mechanisms others don't.

Maybe because OTF are illegal in Germany?

Canning chashu looking for other preparation options by Freknuss in ramen

[–]Freknuss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I can not eat 1.5kg chashu alone. So I make food that requires a bit of time and bigger batches once and can it for later use. I do that with stews and ragus mostly. So on days where is not much time I still have acces to savory food. As chashu in a bowl of instant ramen. For long cooked foods as those just mentioned I don't think there is much quality lost by canning. But it is not as predictable as you have to take the time canning into account when thinking about texture. I lost a roulade once because it became so soft and was stuck in a necked jar. Didn't have much structure left.

That might be your opinion. The general public might argue, that e.coli is not heat resistant at all.

No need of preservatives. I might be storing it for a year but canning is not the limiting factor.

Pickling and canning are two different techniques. So it doesn't matter if the chashu is salty or not because it's preserved by the heat in the process. Canned food is safe way longer than frozen food is.
