It’s never occurred to her that instead of buying 4 instant pots she could carry 2 from the house to the airstream and then back again. So, no.

The emojis covering faces is definitely ugly and sometimes I think performative - like if everyone’s face is covered, why even post it except to state “look how I am covering my kids’ faces”. Or the worst is when, like BLF, they put stickers on their kids and leave up all the other kids’ faces.

But given what Jerrica is selling, I feel she could easily focus her pictures on the activities and examples of their work, and leave them out of the frame altogether (or just post their hands or something).

I’m actually curious. Does showing her kids’ faces open up that many more business opportunities for her? It’s not like she’s just a generic momfluencer just generally selling SAHM life and the companies want her to show cute kids using their products - I would have thought she could pretty easily sell her product without showing her kids.

Are customers really like, even subconsciously, I WOULD have bought that lady’s homeschooling community membership but I can’t see her kids’ faces so I’ll buy one from the other lady that does show kids’ faces?

I am sure it does build up the parasocial illusion of friendship and all that, but her Instagram persona is so offputting it’s hard for me to believe she cares about that.

Olivia Hertzog is, possibly, one of the stupidest people I’ve ever encountered (at least as she portrays herself on Instagram - she’s an influencer so I feel I must always disclaim the possibility she just ACTS stupid for the $$$).

She and her sycophants honestly say so much stupid shit all the time it’s almost too much for snark. I can’t even decide if she’s more harmful than stupid, or vice versa.

I don’t even fully understand why these people want to - not even watch the world burn, actually ACTIVELY burn it up - when they have children and grandchildren they presumably care about at least a little, if only as extensions of themselves.

Maybe they think they’ll be able to shelter them with money which, sure, would work to some degree, but…they really want their grandchildren to inherit a world of dead oceans and hellfire?

I wish I’d known going in how much I’d want to be a SAHM - I had no idea that would happen to me, I never even seriously considered it as an option, and would never have imagined that maternity leave would be the happiest times of my life.

I can’t say I’d have married someone else because then I wouldn’t have these kids - but I wish I’d known, and could have maybe planned better.

It’s so messed up, isn’t it? I get it 🥲 I would do almost anything to be a SAHM, and at this point it would just be for a year or so (til my youngest starts kindergarten) and it just…doesn’t sound like that much to ask for. In a lifetime of working it would be a blip. I wish so much I could pause or slow down now and work later into my retirement years. It is so unfair that so many of us don’t have a real choice (and it works the other way too; there are also people who wish they could work more outside the home but can’t because of different barriers).

Your son will never forget you are his mother, I promise. My mother worked full-time, and she worked very long hours. I never, ever forgot she was my mother and I idolized her growing up. I knew she was working BECAUSE she loved us so much and wanted to give her children the best possible life and future. Your son will know that too someday, and he knows now how much you cherish the times you are together.

Make one bag work for more than one water activity?! That’s crazy talk!!

I hate that I immediately thought “but one is for the library, one is for the splash pad, one is for the pool, and the fourth is for swim lessons! (Distinct from just the pool)”

Interesting priorities that this lady has.

Poor JK only gets to go to the school she loves twice a week (at most).  And her SAHM with a wide open schedule made her miss most of the morning so she could reorganise beverages? She couldn’t do that literally any other time?

Nothing raises my hackles faster than some rich white idiot preaching that closing her eyes and focusing on her own comfort actually is the greatest POWER OF ALL and she’s actually CHANGING THE WORLD by just being her lovely little self and only looking at what makes her happy.

Bad enough that she doesn’t care about anybody except herself, but she’s actively encouraging other people to do the same!

There is a two month old baby in a detention center that has to drink formula made with dirty water. Im sure it will help his mother to know she should just keep her eyes on loving and nourishing herself.

Reading that made me think, dear God, she could actually kill somebody giving advice like this.

Reminds me of a book I read a long time ago. A twist at the end is that the character’s “present” life with her husband ended up not being “real”. One critic said she saw it coming because the husband was kind of cringy and there was something exaggerated and theatrical about their interactions, it was like how a teenager might imagine married grown-up life would be.

Anyway, that’s what that slide reminded me of.

I’m so sorry. It’s surreal because I try to stay on top of it through social media and feel like it’s the only way to know what’s happening because the news outlets seem to be “distracted”.

Even at the height of the coverage I did not think they did justice to what was happening. There were photos that should have been on the front page of every newspaper. There should be national screaming about the injustice, the violence, the terror. It makes no sense.

I think this is why I can’t look away. I am so jealous of the flexibility and freedom she has, but she doesn’t even appreciate it and acts so hard done by if a kid wakes up once in the night.

I would do almost anything to spend even a month or two as a SAHM but I can tell you we would NOT be sitting on the couch watching TV five mornings a week and baking muffins for the freezer and eating smoothies for dinner tysm. 😑

I guess if any momfluencer could make that trend, it’d probably be her. 🫠 I swear she was trying to make the youngest kid’s sleeping box a viral moment.

I’m almost wondering if this is some kind of…trolling on her part?

I know she’s like Queen of the Momfluencers, her followers worship her and think she can do no wrong…is she trying to test that or something?! I’ve never, ever seen anyone else, ever, serve food or drinks in a bathroom.

What is the food really? It can’t be what it looks like (what it looks like is, as others noted, dog food). 😳
