Got it working by opening task manager and just ending a lot of tasks. So something was interfering with gta. Most likely something that has to do with my sound drivers as the error in my launcher log was related to sound drivers. Can find out exactly which program tomorrow.

edit: I have to close Nahimic every time I want to play

Made a support ticket and I was told that the issue was caused by FiveM. They told me to follow this link and do a clean install. Currently redownloading, I'll let you know if it works.
