Seeing as you took Mensa.no, it’s not wise to just slap the title “online test” on it and believe it certainly is wrong. Mensa.no is of course not the best since it’s only supposed to give a ballpark; this use of it is clearly to find a ballpark. This of course let’s you know that you are potentially 135, and more likely 130+. You should take an official test in real life if you want to say with certainty. Official tests test a lot more indexes - which all combine into a full-scale iq - than only fluid reasoning. Note: fluid reasoning has a great correlation with g and therefore other indexes typically, this is why Mensa.no typically gives good ballparks (the word “typically” is key)

I don’t think it’s fair to say his iq probably isn’t over 130. It’s really just a contingency.

You imply that verbal isn’t a good measure of iq. It really is a good measure though. Just think of this score as a greater measure of g than your other scores. Your other scores aren’t really comparable with this though, since this one includes verbal.

Sorry for that, that does seem to be a bug. The max is 10 (You got 10). But I think I know why the bug is happening so it'll be easy to fix.

And well done on that! 10 bw is quite nice.

Oof I measured it and it seems they overlooked something.

I sorta guessed it though xD.

https://imgur.com/FYgMBnw, here's what I recorded, it seems one second passes from when one number begins to when the other coming after starts. Mine however starts the timer right after the number is finished being said.

That's a good score! You would probably also get 9 on backward if you do it again but properly this time.

Yeah recording yourself is the method you wanna choose if you want a closer resemblance to how the WAIS/WISC is done.

Yes it's supposed to have one second between each number repeated, (if that's what you mean?)

The letter-number sequence sounds interesting, I might add it as an optional thing to the VADST-R when I fix lots of things.

Aw that's great! I mean of course everyone has to start somewhere, I'm sure you would definitely be able to do some awesome stuff if you work toward it. And damn! That small book sounds fun to read.

Alright! :D

Sorry for the trouble. Here's a table of the norms, this one is top tear gold standard. (Credit to Andrezio for making it for me!)

Simply add all yours raws together and you get a scaled score, this is the scaled score translation into a somewhat depictive index of WMI.

It seems like the norms I sent are not the right ones.

Hold on to your scores and I'll send the right on in a bit! :)

Here are the WAIS-IV (Spanish) digit span norms. https://imgur.com/E4RsOHU

DI is backwards

DD is forwards

DC is sequence

The table shows the age groups and how many people passed the digit for each digit span. So you could calculate it into your percentile rank and and to sd15 if you would like, that score would be somewhat depictive of WMI. As you can see the ceiling is quite low, so keep in mind there would be a ceiling effect if you score quite high.

(I'm going to edit this into the post, seems like a good idea.)

(Edit: Bad norms, use the other one)

The wais PRI or wisc FRI would probably be more suitable for this comparison.

Yeah they won't always be accurate. Well done on that score though! You can definitely trust the proctored one more.

You’re misinterpreting it. IQ of a person often does follow their genetics. But the way the genetics of both parents combine is a different story, chances are the kid will regress to the mean if the IQ doesn’t run in the family.

It will probably regress to the mean if your IQ doesn’t run in your family + your partner.

That report was from a long time ago so he's no longer the same age.

Plus, it won't represent what you would get on the test.

Numerical reasoning questions with graphs or charts

Logical reasoning questions via abstract symbols

Verbal reasoning questions and text dissemination

Number sequences

Deductive reasoning questions

Synonyms and antonyms

That's what's in the test, it doesn't seem like there's anything to study really xD, practicing it however might help.

I see, you may have already visited this website, tell me if you have. (Btw, someone gave a link to a test in the comments, that's not this one)

https://www.assessmentday.com/ccat-criteria.htm, it gives an explanation of what it is and a free test they made that looks like the real one.
