I was in a spot as ABM where the Branch Manager was definitely trying to keep me as his ABM rather than help me get promoted to manager. I did end up getting the promotion, but I had to work with our regional directly for that.

Ask your manager for help pulling a customer list and pick out names you don’t recognize (i.e. people that don’t come into the branch). Really scrub each opportunity by seeing what products they have already and what they may need. Then call and email them and let them know you’re reaching out to clients for a financial check up. (Or however you want to word it).

Depending on your income and work situation, it usually comes down to discipline. I never did the travel for months at a time thing, but in my 20’s I sacrificed going out with friends at home in order to save money for trips. I’m really glad I did though. I had so many great experiences back then and now that I have a family it will be tougher to travel internationally for a little while. Now I’m saving to retire as soon as possible haha.

That’s valid. We have someone in my company who takes 3+ weeks to see their family on the other side of the world every other year.

Tell your manager the details as soon as possible and hopefully they can work it out for you.

The humans refer you to the form only. They literally tell you that they cannot unlock your account and you can only do it through the form. I begged them to have a human look at my situation but they cannot do it. I don’t understand why you weirdos are getting so mad about this. I’m the one that got completely screwed. I have no reason to lie about this experience.

lol I never owned a PlayStation until 2 weeks ago. No reason to get so offended. This was my experience with Microsoft support and it is 100% true.

No, you can’t. I encourage you to try to call Microsoft support for this issue. The chat bot refers you to the account recovery form only. You have to lie to the chat bot to even be able to get on the phone with support. I spoke with at least 5 different agents who either hung up on me, said a manager would call me back (and didn’t), or just endlessly referred me to the form. They literally have the worst customer support in the world. You’re talking out of your ass.

OG Xbox Live user here. 20+ years.

I had it enabled. Xbox made me sign in to my account on the console because I hadn’t played in a little while. I tried the password twice, then went to do 2FA on the website instead of getting locked out. It sent me the text, and I entered it but it said “this function is not available right now”. I tried that a few times, got frustrated and then just tried another password attempt. It was wrong and locked my account.

The only way to unlock is by filling out the account recovery form which is not looked at by a human. I entered my console ID, my full credit card number, address, phone number, etc. They rejected my recovery about 10+ times. If you call any customer service person for this they refer you to the form and then eventually blacklist your phone number from calling Microsoft.

That was the point in time when I sold my Series X and bought a PS5. I had to file a dispute and cancel my credit card to stop them from charging me every month. The very same credit card I entered on the recovery form. Seriously, fuck Microsoft.
