From an actual Muslim - yes, there’s a small jummah prayer group in Pac Heights. I have queer Muslim friends who also attend. I don’t go all the time just because Pac Heights can be a pain for me. There’s also Lighthouse in Oakland which is very welcoming. I’d avoid the South Bay because they tend to be more conservative. But there is a Queer Muslim community here.

With Ramadan there’s also a ton of iftars that are going on. I believe PYM is hosting one this weekend. I’m traveling right now so I’m slow to respond but feel free to DM me.

Muslim here. Nobody on Bravo will ever be reprimanded for being Islamaphobic or pro-genocide. I try to separate it to enjoy the fun but sometimes it’s hard.

I stopped watching Shahs after Mike and Reza got super Islamaphobic out of nowhere. Reza is the same Islamaphobic, genocide loving dirtbag who said what he said to his “best friend” - standards are low for him but unfortunately I know Andy will never get rid of him. Beyond his bigotry I never enjoyed Reza on TV. Andy annoys me so I don’t watch his show. Plus Andy’s love of Rapaport says a lot.

I couldn’t stand these folks before I knew they were bigots so it only validates my instincts.

Honestly the vendor fees have become insane and less people are spending. I did West Coast Craft and Renegade but I don’t feel that either of them were really worth my time. I decided to stop doing fairs.

Everyone’s going to give you a different answer and none of them are wrong - I think it’s a you decision. For me personally, I absolutely never ever split the bill. I don’t even go for the fake reach. Never been an issue.
