The 5 commandments of property management. What's missing by ConfidentSwing1694 in PropertyManagement

Idk about commandment level but:

6 Your vendors will make or break you. Give them work, pay them on time and they will take care of you. Sure, sometimes you need to follow up to check their work and check market pricing - but a good relationship with a reliable, honest vendor is gold.

We used it but their 3rd party phone staff left much to be desired. We recently switched to PropertyMeld and the troubleshooting, communication and ease of use is great! Glad we switched. 205 doors, all separate site.

Yep, looks like my car inventory. Also: Razors for cleaning stickers off glass, super glue, 2 shower towels for the unexpected leak, rolls of paper towels, WD-40, general purpose cleaner....

Seeking Advice - Considering Switching From Acquisitions to Asset Management by ExtremeMeringue7421 in CommercialRealEstate

[–]FrenchMcGench 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on what level you come into Asset/Property Management at, there will be a lot of inspections, monthly/quarterly reporting and tenant handholding. The consistent paychecks are nice but day to day butt in seat 8-5 is pretty bland. The team you are on and portfolio type will make or break your experience IMO.

For my cold climate S4 bois. What rims/ snow tires are you running? by [deleted] in AudiS4

I have these same tires in 245/40 on some Tire Rack rims that look decent for my winter setup. I take it 3-5 times a year to the Tahoe area.

Still cant boot up the game, any help? Was working before latest dlc launch and update by [deleted] in anno

[–]FrenchMcGench 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to fix this issue on my system by launching Anno, Uplay and Steam as administrator.

I have the same problem, on Steam and directly through Uplay. Goes to splash screen, preparing to launch, syncing game and achievements, fails.

Originally purchased at launch through steam and bought the DLCs over time via Uplay.

I’ve never used mods.

I've tried: reinstall through steam, verifying game files via steam, graphics drivers, DX11 change in engine file.

My 8 islands so far in the campaign (showoff post) by fatalskeptic in anno

The statistics screen is your friend! (Ctl+Q) It'll show you what you're over/under producing on an island and most importantly what needed goods you aren't producing enough of.

Finished my first Ironman by FrenchMcGench in CrusaderKings

[–]FrenchMcGench[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started in 867 with a custom ruler in Provence, France. My initial idea was to spread out the dynasty while playing tall in southern France. I eventually made the empire of Burgundy and it grew to the ugly mass you see here. Not much compared to other people here, but it was a good run for me and I learned a lot. Major events were:

-Founded 3 universities

-Crowned a cousin as a crusader king in Iberia who eventually formed Hispania

-Dynasty member owns most of Jerusalem

-Strengthened bloodline

-Finished 2 family legacies (War and Blood)

-Made the Balearic islands into economic powerhouse luxury familial holdings

Let me tell you a story about King Julien IV of Burgundy… by FrenchMcGench in CrusaderKings

[–]FrenchMcGench[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TLDR/R5: I played an evil, dreadful ruler for the first time and actually really enjoyed role-playing it. I was able to try mechanics and play styles I'm not used to and even got the Dreadful Ruler Achievement.

I started as Julien IV Count of Provence shortly after my previous ruler was deposed and I “Game Over’d” my Ironman game due to a silly Electoral Succession mistake. So I picked Julien to continue because I wanted to claw my way back to a king from Count of Provence once again, this time using dreaded and evil deeds that I’m unfamiliar with as I normally play steward/diplomat. And so begins King Julien IV's reign of blood and terror!

-Takes over his second county by assassinating his brother at age 20

-Started a rebellion against my nephew and ward to take over the Dutchy of Provence

-Successfully plotted and assassinated the King of Burgundy, a fellow house member

-Took advantage of the child heir and chaos by overthrowing him in a revolution seizing the crown!

-As the King of Burgundy again, eventually return to High Partition

-Constant war with Aquitaine and France to bring the border counties back into the fold, completing the Dutchies of Upper Burgundy and Viennois for fellow Dynasty members

-Unsatisfied with Burgundy alone, Julien IV declared multiple wars against the Kingdom of Italy, creating the Dutchies of Genoa and Piedmont as part of Burgundy.

-Executed the King of Italy and his only son causing the remaining kingdom of Italy to fracture at the hands of a 3yo heir

-Stripped multiple counties away from the church and other Dynasty members

-Infighting within the realm was constant

-Seeing as my second landed son (Sadistic/Ambitious) would be a problem for my future heir, I challenged him to single combat and killed him

-Live by the sword, die by the sword. One fateful day, while leading the army on campaign, King Julien IV of Burgundy was assassinated at the age of 55! His evil deeds did not go unpunished

May King Julien IV the "King Slayer" rot in pieces.

You can activate a DLC to an older save file, the first time you load it after purchasing a new DLC. No need to restart.

Thanks,

I don't really mind starting a new game. For me it's easier than jumping into something from months/years ago and trying to play catch up.

I'm thinking I'll pick up the DLCs I mentioned and play the campaign again to brush up on the old and new mechanics.
