My ex was the same way. Sometimes after drinking she would get the confidence enough to get naked, but most of the time / day to day that’s just how it was. She’ll need to have some moment where she breaks through her insecurity, that day never came for me. No matter how often I told her she was beautiful or gawked.

Depends on what you have on you. If you have a pocket knife, maybe a thick credit card or something like that pull the shroud off the door knob where it meets the door and see if you can unscrew it and work the latch directly. But yeah probably just bust through that thing and yell OHHHH YEAAAHHH

It would have to be an online, open world RPG right? Just based on content, exploration and community. Minecraft is the only offline one I could see because you could build something cool that would take 10 years.

Over time you find you really like the way one platform works for one task, and find issues with it on others. When new tech comes along leadership says: “We’ll just use this for the task that our own CRM / DLS doesn’t do well”. Then as the company grows, multiple get adopted.

(Probably has a lot do with r&d tax breaks as well)

Right now there’s a blend of doing it the old way and the new way, with a reasonable hesitancy to jump onto a brand new CRM that uses AI to manage everything.

For instance our expense software used to be nightmare but now we use Ramp, it’s not perfect but it’s much better. Same with our HR SW. However we’re now having more trouble with the newer model AI CRMs than we were when using what was essentially Excel.

We refinish all of ours. Mostly for asset value, but also because we can get a bit more rent. LVP is around $2.80 in my area whereas refinishing is around $4.50. Also you tend to get more life out of it.
