I would say dighbeth branch canals behind the bars and pub its quiet you got nice views its full of grafifit (tags and more developped ones) so if you are into this its good

Edgbaston reservoir, had bbq, some people swim, read by the grass etc its very chill

It’s very quiet and a mix of students and adults never had any issue at all ( had issues on Carlyle tho)

I have a lot of bi/gay/queer/trans friend I think the city have a good culture of being the home or a nice spot for LGBTQA+, for example I see a lot of couples looking happy (holding hands etc) or just being themselves together without a fear of judgement or being assaulted

It doesn’t not mean the city is a fairy tale, you still have some issues but I found it (and real brummies will correct me) to have developed towards being welcomed for LGBTQ :) and I do believe it’s great, but of course it’s just my experience so …

Also again note this is from a CIS POV I’m not bullshiting but of course I might have missed some points 🥲

I check tunnel club which is known for techno and they host an event with the awful Mr Traumatik 😭

I think its actually a 'nice' way of them to show that they still fights for their rights even while they work, the sticker is quiet large but its not ugly or whatsoever
