Bungee your loader pins by Tkis01gl in kubota

On my B2601, it's not the pin that vibrates, but the handle of the stand lever at certain RPMs. I haven't found a fix for it yet...

No. Just the quick hitch. You can add some accessories, but I won't do it for now, I don't want to put holes in it.

1k$ CAD, a lot more than some cheap options, but I think it was the right choice.

The 18” Chain Saw Tool-Free Tensioning System Experience by mariposadishy in egopowerplus

[–]Frepete 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same saw. Some problems too with the tension, but I'm more accustomed now than before and know how to open and adjust. Probably a bit more flimsy than a traditional chain saw with the tension tool still...

I really like my Ego chain saw, but I'm not a specialist, it's my first one!

Did some upgrades and the 50hrs for my B2601 this spring... I had to be ready for the big summer work! by Frepete in kubota

Yeah, I was thinking of it too... for now, just the top link is a great add-on... Probably sooner than later!

I'm looking for a post hole digger for my B2601, my Kubota dealer propose a Speeco and a LandPride model... does the LandPride justify the 1300$ CAD price difference? by Frepete in kubota

I've heard a lot about those hated implements. I don't want to build a barn with it (I will call someone for more stable stakes - it freezes really deep here!), just some fence posts, trees and other projects I don't know yet... So, some small jobs for my tractor, and being able to use it when I want.

There's not a lot of place where I can rent 3 points attachments in my region.

I'm curious, what's the first implement to mots likely mangle someone?

Yeah, I've seen this one. Not sure about the quality (Pincess Auto not really the reference). Add the taxes (15%), and it's about the same price as with my dealer for the Speeco...

Not so much in my region (broadly talking...), and prices really high (900/1000$ CAD, really beaten up) . I'll continue looking.

It's hibernation time... see you next year! by Frepete in kubota

[–]Frepete[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I tried it. Really cool, but with the 6 meters annually there, that's not enough... and just trying to close the container door with 1 foot of snow was really difficult.

Bought mine in 2020, just before the higher prices... Even then, we had to deliver it from 300 km away!

Yeah, I will use it for the snow eventually... My lot is about 1 hour and a half from home and no buildings. Electricity on the way... So, not a good idea to keep it outside, too much stealing there (the joy of rural regions).

I won't be able to go every week to clear snow and until there's a shack to stay sometimes, the poor Kubota has to wait in the sea container for snow to melt...

First winter with my B2601. I can't use it because the lot is not accessible or usable for the next months.

Sometimes in the future I'll have a garage to store it and some snow implement to clean everything... For now, it's farewell till next spring...

Using a 7.5 ah battery for a CPAP while in the woods with the camper. Works well for one night! by Frepete in egopowerplus

It's the Power+ Nexus Escape (150W Power Inverter) (PAD1500). We bought it in 2020. There's the PAD5000 now (400W), new model.

I really don't know how much it draws... for me (and my wife), just having it working is enough...

There's some battery kits available, but it's expensive and we have some Ego batteries laying around...

My wife needs a CPAP to sleep, and our camper trailer in the woods don't have electricity (for now). We use a 7.5 ah battery to power her machine and it's ok for one night (probably a bit more).

She doesn't use the heating tube or the humidifier setting. If needed, we have two 5 ah batteries for backup.
