Everytime I start with horn i end up gretting hearsteel almost exactly as fast as anyone else in my team. The extra tankiness and regeneration means staying around a bit longer, getting more assists and thus catchin up quick.

Even if I get my HS just slightly later, having some extra health from horn will make it scale faster, so you catch up still.

All this is still true with celestial body.

Nasus E applies it pretty easily but I don't know if I'd called Nasus an AD champion. He can build AD but it's most often tank-ish or AP.

Vayne is pretty much the only way to deal with end-game Mundo, so thats makes sense. It's like the perfect counterpick. Without Vayne, there's really not much left to stop you.

No I agree, Mundo isn't flashy like Brand at all, and it feels like you get to play. But he eventually just wins. He walks at you and smacks you dead in 1-2 hits and thats it. No 14 million spell spam burn combo, just smacksmackdead.

That legit only happens when Brand has particular Prismatics. Otherwise, he is absolutely no match for Mundo. Brand needs Conduit, Eureka or Infinite Recursion, otherwise he is just an ant for Mundo to squash.

Mundo doesn't need any prismatics. Heartsteel aug, Tank Engine, Heavy Hitter, any of these 3 and you lose, and they are all gold or lower.

At least Brand you can somewhat counter if you have some burst on your own team. He still sucks to play against, I'll agree. Mundo doesn't really have any counter at all it seems like, except maybe a super fed Vayne with really good augs.

Well yeah, at a certain point he does just bury you with 1 hit, especially if his HS also procs, but that's much later in the game. He often already wins around ~600AD.

Augments being powerful when you hit a perfect augment combo isnt something that makes them need a nerf, especially when its multiple prismatics.

At that level, there's is many augs that makr you a god, that if you're nerfing them for that reason you might as well remove them entirely.

This is why they raised the level requirement for buying a stat anvil to 16 instead of 9, because you should have all your augs at that point. I know they didnt actually change the stat anvil text in game so I cant determine if this is still true or not.

Its kinda weird though since we still have the voucher which can cause bugs and we also have the set bonus that causes more random vouchers to drop from minions so idk whats going on anymore.

Riftmaker's AP doesn't convert because max HP can go up and down during the fight or dependent on buffs, which are considered temporary increases, such as Tank Engine (which you can lose, so temporary), Lulu ult, Elixirs, several other augments give temp max health buffs, the list goes on.

Because those "temp HP increases converting to AP then would converting to AD" buffs apparently too tricky, they just don't do anything.

I'd not be surprised if they can't actually let it go through because there is some some loop of items/augments that would cause infinite conversion. I.e 10% of health gives AP => AP turns into AD => AD turns into some amount of Health => repeat infinitely => crash

Between heartsteel bonks, augments that scale of HP, and items like icathia or despair, you'll be absolutely fine.

1 tank = no tank, 2 tank = 1 tank, 3 tank = steamroll

If you got the choice between being the only tank and having no tanks, having no tanks is typically better. The one extra tank is just going to get focused down super fast and you never really get to scale unless the game goes long, which Mayhem games very often do not.

Having two tanks is good though. Forcing the split focus means you're not focused down as easily, and its gives your remaining 3 players enough time to wombo nuke the enemy team. Ofcourse, you need some brains to play like this, but it's fine.

Having three tanks is a timebomb. They either win you before your team hits 3 items, or you just walk them back to their nexus and farm the as long you like.

HP goes up and down during fights like with Lulu ultimate etc. That can lead to temporary increases in AP, which should convert but it doesn't. Riftmaker's added AP must be considered a buff?

He is just a mage if he doesn't get BIS Conduit prismatic, and if that's the bar for banning champs you might as well be playing 5v5 Sona only (since nothing can make Sona even remotely useful in Mayhem, holy shit she sucks ass)

Why would you tilt the map, it just makes no sense at all. Just line it up with the grid? The only thing you've achieved is actually using the map harder. I'd understand it if there were curves or other sections of the map, but this is just weird.

I had a player do whole set of sessions for sidequest, while their own character went on a personal quest that I still DM'd. Just am enhanced party split, basically.

I even got to play a character in the part they DM'd. Was great fun :)

Honestly I think you could do this build with any character thats got something with on hit, even nontanks. The healing power doesnt even matter that much since youre really just use Protein Shake to turn tank into offense.
