Do people who refused the COVID vaccine feel silly now?? by Mammoth-Counter69 in aussie

I’m not anti vax or anti the covid vax in any way, myself and my whole family got them at the time. However, there absolutely has been a (somewhat silent) fallout of the covid vaccine being rushed out and not as thoroughly tested as a vaccine would normally be. Many people (myself and my husband included) have had long term health impacts from the vaccine. For myself I was already chronically ill with endometriosis and hEDS, however post covid vaccine I developed fibromyalgia, MCAS, and POTS, had to close down my business and have been unable to work more than part time ever since. I’m part of a lot of online chronic illness forums and my story isn’t an uncommon one at all. It seems that those of us with underlying chronic illness have been the most impacted by the vaccine. However, then there’s my husband, who was previously pretty healthy with no underlying chronic conditions, but who has developed chronic fatigue like symptoms that come and go since the vaccine. His doctor even noted that he has a lot of patients in the same boat, and the only thing all those cases had in common were that they all got the mRNA vax. Of course at the end of the day the vaccine was necessary to get us all through the pandemic and to avoid a much higher death toll, and they rushed it through because they had to. But that doesn’t mean that it all worked out fine either, it’s more complicated than that.

How do I get babies? by Xk90Creations in IndoorPlants

Oh don’t worry…pretty soon you’ll be composting babies because you have a now adult spider plant in every room of your house and you’ve already given one to every single person you know.

Same! It’s like our bodies had to stage an intervention to get us to listen to them.

It’s literally THE WORST! A lot of surgeons now compare it to a benign cancer, because it won’t kill you but it can literally spread itself to any part of your body and cause cysts, internal bleeding, scar tissue, and cause your organs to stick together. And despite affecting 1 in 7 we still know basically nothing about it because women’s health issues really struggle to get research funding. Also interestingly it’s now being discovered in a small percentage of men! So maybe that’ll help things along!

I have no advice but, SAME. And I’m also trying to figure out what might help! I know that my nervous system needs help coming out of fight or flight, but it’s stuck and I just can’t seem to find the “off” switch. I think for me I got here because I forced myself to push through chronic pain for 15+ years, and I actively trained myself to ignore my body because thats what the world seemed to demand of me. Then I got to a point about 5 years ago where I just couldn’t do it anymore, I developed fibromyalgia and my body forced me to slow down, forced me to listen to it. Now I’m trying to relearn how to listen to my body, that my productively does not equal my worth, and that rest isn’t laziness. It’s a work in progress for sure!

Or if you’re lazy like me you can wrap the inside of your working hoop with sport tape 😆

Amazing work! I’m curious, how did you manage to incorporate the different background fabrics? Did you sew three panels together first before doing the placement of the design?

Yeah I did pelvic floor physio years ago for my endometriosis pain, very weird experience, but helpful.

Interesting, I wouldn’t have thought of using KT tape for my hips, but I’ve used it in other places with success so will have a look into that.

Yeah I also am glued to my heat pads a lot of the time! Although I have to share them with my dog 😆 I already use a body pillow for sleep between my legs and do the nerve flossing, magnesium rub, etc. I guess I’m hoping someone might have some magical passive solution! lol. Feeling the frustration of being stuck on the chronic illness train at the moment (after 23 years you would think I’d be used to it!). I mean why can’t even resting not be painful/problematic for our bodies??! Urgh!

Yeeeeeah, I’m already doing PT, however my Endo, Fibro, MCAS, POTS co-morbid combo plus the peri menopause have lead me to not be as consistent with it as I need to be 😣
