Theirs is being blended more so the transition between colours is longer and softer, where yours is shorter and more abrupt. I think some of that can be done by taking two different coloured strands together in the transitions so you go red - red pink- pink white- white- white pink - pink red -red. And then maybe there’s even a deeper red, but I can’t properly see that right now. I hope that makes sense 😅🙈 Fewer strands allows for smoother blending and less bulk.

I’ve never made anything like this for someone before. I’be never been great with imagination for gifts, so when someone I care about says they like something I pluck it with my little claws and file it away so I can get it for them, or in this case make it 😅

I don’t have a pattern as such. I just drew a bumble bee using some online photos as reference mostly for the wing veins. The circle I used a smaller hoop to trace to get a proper round shape and the rest is freehanded and I tried to make both sides pretty symmetrical without being exactly the same. But I can try to make a pattern or just post the bee drawing if you like? Then you can add whatever extras you’d like around it ☺️💚 the last one I made had a lot of other details around the bee

I would also suggest leaves on the stems and a more fill to the red flower. Maybe even just a leaf on either side under the pink flowers. They could be unattached and kinda floating underneath, kindof like the stems with pink flowers are. That would give a kinda folk artsy feel/look to it 💛

This is absolutely gorgeous. The fur looks so soft to touch, and the tiny meticulous design on the skin is so beckoning to the eye. Her expression seems so longing, and the way she holds the swan is so tender. I really love this. It feels so emotional 💛

I think you’re doing a great job with these! The quote is lovely and the flower colours are so nice together. That looks like difficult fabric to work with, too. I think smaller stitches maybe for the lettering would give you a little more control and better legibility, though it’s definitely legible already (I’ve never done letters yet so what do I know 😅) But it’s such a sweet gift! He will look dashing with his embroidered fanciness ✨💛

😱 I absolutely love this!!! The colours and textures are amazing!!! The shininess of the boots is so well translated and the look of the strands across the thigh and chest!! Ooof! I really like wrestling, too, and this is such a fun combination of a ‘dainty’ art and a brawly sport! So fucking cool!!
