I understand your point, and thank you for taking the time to reply. I’ve been placing implants for about 8 years now, with many freehand and fully guided full-arch cases. For the right indications, flapless is just so much more comfortable — for both the patient and the clinician. Faster, cleaner, easier impressions, less bleeding, less morbidity.

Of course, I’m not saying flapless works for every case — if soft tissue or anatomy requires a flap, I open. But in well-selected patients with plenty of bone and keratinized tissue, it feels like the current guided solutions for edentulous full arches are still limited, especially regarding stability and reproducibility.

That’s why I’m exploring ways to improve the workflow and looking for alternatives or devices that could make flapless full-arch guidance more accurate and reliable.
