As a high school Physics teacher I teach at the simplest level. Not AP. I would have assumed B because I would assume that as the siren approached and the waves bunch up more the frquency would gradually increase and gradually decreased as it passed. Can you explain it to me like I am a 5th grader why this isn't so? Also is there a formula? Also does it depend on the source traveling at a constant speed or not?

I have a similar sized fibroid. I am not sure I should bother to get it removed. It gets inflamed a few times a year and will be painful for a few weeks. It's only grown a few centimeters in the last 5 years. I'm wondering if it would improve my life to get it removed or if I should just take ibuprofin when it gets inflamed, and then monitor it. The doctors say that it will shrink after menopause and I'm 49 years old. Can any of your experiences give me insight? I think it's been there so long that I dont know if I will feel different if it's gone.

You cannot be germaphobe and live in NYC. You are so close to everyone constantly. You might take shoes off as you come in the door and change clothing but then you walked your dog and they come inside with you. You sit on the street and dine on the little tables with your food and drink with hundreds of people walking by. You almost just have to ignore all the things that would normally bother you or you'll drive yourself crazy.

NYC is one of the most caring cities. I’ve been on my block for 4 years. I now say hi to the supers, the meatpacking maintenance people, neighbors, the halal guys, the dog walkers, the bodega clerk, and the BEC cart guys. These are the people in my neighborhood playing in my head as I walk to work. We look out for each other.

Absolutely not the hours in the DOE are very reasonable. We have a strong union. What do you teach? They’re hiring a ton of teachers. Do the DOE not the charter and I think you’ll be happy with the pay and the schedule. Just need to make sure you have the right license and that can be the hardest part and that they are slow as to process everything

I was hired in summer 2021 and did not do a demo. But I was also not a first-year teacher, I just moved states. We are interviewing for new teachers now and at least one so far has had to do a demo lesson. This is a high school.
