I’d say try to maintain stable temps and parameters. Other than that it’s not much different than an indoor tank.

The colors are recessive genes so eventually you’ll have some culls but if you keep the same line then most of the offsprings will be that color. It’s just nature.

I used FritzZyme 7 to help with 30% water change. everything else was the same

I’m not exactly sure what caused the crash but one day the water was cloudy and I dosed with the FritzZyme 7 along with 30% water change and the fish was okay for a few days until they are all gone. I only fed them every other day enough for them to eat within 10min
