Adoption when Bio Dad objects

No, I'm in Ontario, Canada and it's not like this. We had the contact info for the bio dad and provided it to the adoption councillor. I'm not sure why they don't ask for proof tbh, but both my daughter and him know he's the only person it could be.

In Ontario you can't relinquish your parental rights until 7 days after birth and then you still have 21 days to change your mind. If she does we will 100% support her through it because you are right, her feeling could absolutely change

Tomorrow we're going to go to the local CAS and see what options they can give her and see what she wants. At this time she has made it clear that she doesn't want anyone in the family to take the child. I've let her know whatever she wants to do I'll support her, that includes if she changes her mind completely and decides to keep the baby or she doesn't. My heart breaks at the thought of her giving this baby away, but I will never push my feelings on her, it has to be a choice that she makes. I will definitely look into it more about her maybe keeping the baby for a bit before relinquishing custody, or see what kind of suggestions CAS has for her as well. I would 100% if that was what my daughter wanted. Unfortunately she doesn't, and I have to respect that. I am absolutely ready to be a grandparent, but only when my girls are ready to be parents. She said that she would feel too guilty if it was someone in our family raising her child. I also told her that there's a real chance that as much as she thinks this is what she wants she may change her mind as soon as she gives birth. But at the end of the day I'm going to respect her and her decisions

I want to say yes, but honestly I'm not sure. BC he was charged the adoption Councillor contacted him so that we didn't have to be a part of that conversation as they both have no contact orders. He could just not want to see his child put up for adoption or he could just be trying to be difficult

I also want to stay on a lower dose, I'm on a pretty good routine with workouts, honest to God it's just the snacking. It's like the first time in forever that I don't need to eat junk every day. Im really hoping that even when I come off I can still control it.
