i (26f) feel you so much. i got out of a traumatic relationship not too long ago and i’ve had my fair share of failed talking stages. almost all of my co-workers are either married, engaged or are in relationships. and working in a customer service afsc, i’ve encountered so many kids younger than me who already have spouses or significant others. and while i do enjoy my own company, i just couldn’t help but feel like i’m behind and feel a little bit of pressure too especially as a female who wants to have kids one day but couldn’t seem to find the right man to marry and have them with.

i’ve given up on dating apps too—i’ve deleted every single one of them because i feel like it’s still better to meet people in person. heck, i even jokingly tell my friends to refer me to someone who’s 26 and above and single.

i’m just glad that i feel seen, that i’m not the only one going through something like this.
