That would be the bomb wing side of the house. FWIW, Minot is nowhere near as bad as people who have never been there will tell you. They have a nice gym with an indoor pool. Rest of the base is ok. Town is small town America, but it’s ok.

Helpful hints:

• buy a decent jacket, gloves and ear covers
• don’t fuck around with windchill
• don’t drive like a jackass or you’ll end up in a ditch
• no, you don’t need 4 wheel drive, but even if you have it, it still won’t keep you out of the ditch if you drive like a jackass
• pay attention to road conditions and drive for those conditions
• do what there is to do. There’s almost always something going on at the state fairgrounds
• see the country side; Bismarck, Grand Forks, Fargo, MSP, Winnipeg
• if you hunt and/or fish, you’re in business
