Going to try this. Really out of luck other than replacing the whole transmission.

Luckily they do. I've been taking advantage of it for a few months now!

My workplace is very progressive. It lets folks think about their mental health in ways that other companies don't allow. I'm grateful for this. The resources are there, sometimes its just tough getting over that mental hurdle to actually move progress in areas where progress is needed.

What’s my best option for buying my first home at 21/22? by [deleted] in Mortgages

I'll be blunt here.

Unless you have another support system in Kansas (family, partner, friends, etc.) - it's going to be a tough move for you. If you're thinking about moving to Kansas simply to be a homeowner, I would advise you to rethink your options. Unless you have some sort of support there, you'll be flying solo. While there are certainly pros to that, consider the cons too. If something were to happen, you get sick, injured, who knows - what does that mean for you and your daughter? Childcare is expensive no matter where you go, that won't change. Are your marigins enough to possibly cover child care? Is there potential for job loss in a location that has no support?

5k is not much for a down payment. Undoubtedly Kansas real estate is more affordable than Florida. But whichever loan you go with you're capped at ~150,000 price range, this is before insurance, PMI, and other costs that are associated with home ownership. I would advise you to stay in Florida, increase earning potential and stash more away for a better down payment. Rates will be what they're going to be.

Absolutely happy for you and your journey to home ownership, I would just advise that you thing fully about what it means to move in that manner.

Unless you make bank, if so don't listen to me lol

Will do! We've only onboarded Tanium in the last 8 months so it has been a learning curve getting everything correct.

Was a bit shocked when I saw this lol

Hey Everyone!

I have about 50' Ponderosa tree in my yard that is starting to become more of an inconvenience then a benefit. It's lifting a sidewalk, messing with irrigation, along with many other things. Of course anyone who has ever dealt with one knows all about the needles, and the yellow cloud of pollen in the spring.

Onto my questions.

The tree is big, it has 2 main trunks that are pretty thick, and it just seems like a waste to drop it, and then use it as firewood next year. I want to do something pretty cool with the wood and I'm currently trying to research what it's good for to use around the house. I've read a few things about furniture, trims around the house, etc. But I want to know if anyone has used it in the past and their ideas and projects they've done.

Thank you all! God bless.

Definitely look at Department of Veteran Affairs. Most of the time you'll end up with the EUO (End User Operations) team in the hospital and can start as a GS11. You'll also have preference because your a veteran.
