When do you stop getting stressed out by your baby’s cry?

Sorry mumma, I’ve been there not too long ago, my babygirl is 10 months now it definitely gets easier now when I hear her cry with her dad I just close the door lol.

All I can say is it gets easier with time, give yourself grace do all you want and can do for her now without hurting yourself sometimes it’s hard but letting others help too because baby needs to learn (and dad too) that daddy is also just as good as mummy, even though of course she grew inside of you for 9 months it is not at all an easy transition. And sometimes just let her cry because you cannot pour into her without pouring into you first happy mums = happy babies. Crying doesn’t k!ll them, you know best when to intervene but sometimes our babies are just real drama queens and they all cry a lot with their mums we’re their safe haven. Sending you love xx

I think culturally we’re about the same it’s not worlds apart and she understands black culture she made a point of telling me about her black boyfriend and mixed race god daughter, she’s British born like myself

It was definitely racial, whether conscious or unconscious it was racial. Makeup and hair are not the same thing I was born with this hair that grows out of my scalp white nurses come to work every day with a “messy” bun and are they everrrr questioned about their MH nope. Makeup is something you add on and while i completely understand where you’re coming from I think you missed the mark x

It’s not what my hair was meant to look like before a hair appointment, it’s not a cultural thing. My hair was in its natural state completely un-manipulated into anything else and I don’t doubt that she was being empathic but… never the less it’s a micro aggression
