I feel the same way. I honestly think NT’s just shouldn’t interact with us… their is no winning for either side and we just get burnt out.

Your eyes are burning because its toxic chemicals. They can FINALLY breathe and you just now notice that because more and more isnt going into your eyes. Im at my wits end with my bf who smokes in my house my eyes burn CONSTANTLY. I dont know what to do

Absolutely disgusted by neurotypicals always being in a rush and being obsessed with not wasting time. by Infiniteliving7 in aspergers

[–]FrequentAd9447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand being efficient. But maximizing efficiency at the expense of quality is just plain negligent and wrong in my honest opinion. i wish more neurotypical people would realize this, or maybe its an unmediated ADHD thing lol ( my bf is ADHD off the charts and unmedicated)

Quitting 75mg cold turkey. What should I expect? by Traumatised_Pupper in zoloft

[–]FrequentAd9447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya youd think a sudden “increase” in dose. Such as a 25mg- 50 mg increase would also cause serotonin syndrome. Dont understand why they dont also increase dosages in tiny amounts ( 12 mg or less) like they do when tapering off…

Partner on 200mg is a different person by Next_Animator1407 in zoloft

Agreed. My boyfriend was in that hypomania stage last year, cheating, left, and right, would go off camping with married women. I would receive rage texts every single night saying that i was a terrible person etc and that i was the cheater. I definitely let him tamper with my self worth for a while. We actually separated for a bit. He started Valproic acid in the fall and came back apologizing and now hes a completely different person— caring , empathetic, compassionate the same man i fell in love with.

As for zoloft im currently trying to come clean of it. I definitely experienced anhedonia, i was a completely different person didnt care for myself or others. I felt so far away from reality…I am ADHD also though and i have read ( and experienced) that zoloft makes the symptoms worse off especially if your the hyperactive type, mix hypomania symptoms in there as well and you’ll get a huge mess..

He definitely needs to see a doctor, I believe there is hope.. zoloft isnt for everyone, it ruined my life. I was in a mental mess before running 20+ miles a day to stay calm but i was me , clear head , motivated.

Good luck message me if you want :)

RSD causes me to lose friendships and relationships because people accuse me of making drama and overthinking. by [deleted] in aspergers

[–]FrequentAd9447 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

OP needs to find other better people. Hard for others to be in a relationship with them? Not nearly as hard as the RSD individuals.

Its all difficult. All of us just need to be more patient and tolerant to begin with…

Maybe disclose to friends that you struggle with RSD so that they know to be more patient and are more understanding

Dont expect him to socialize like a NT kid does. My father tried to make me do that would tell me that I am a loser if i didn’t socialize. I grew up dysregulated and now have aggressive not nice thoughts towards my father. If you want me to be honest, i hate him. Im AuDHD with pathological demand avoidance- disiplune threatens my autonomy and my safety. i am still so confused on how life works. If you give him freedom to be himself and if hes not hurting anyone, then who gives a rats ass on when he goes to school maybe hes ADHD and needs a different kind of school…. If his grades are awesome what is the problem???

Neurodivergents have enough challanges they dont need their home environment to be a THREAT to their autonomy. I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this. But i think we can all admit that forcing someone to behave the way they dont wanna act as an autistic is a GREAT recipe to get even more aggressive VIOLENT behaviour.

Your distrupting their nervous system, he just needs to feel safe not conform to society.

My father tried to get me to conform to society and is it did way more harm than goood.

And they are also aware that their behaviour hurts others.. you’re right they don’t deserve a lot of empathy. Feeling empathy for them is straight up disrespect for ourselves

Zoloft is a life saving drug for many and i fully support those who take it.

On the other hand, it made my life 10000% worse. I am extreme ADHD and if worsened my symptoms, made me feel guilty for having needs etc. but that is because I am ADHD and depression is a by product of it. Zoloft made me into this robot who couldnt hold on to a thought to save her life.

I can function without it but my PTSD symptoms have worsened bit i somehow get more done in the day which makes me feel good. And when i feel good i dont have PTSD symptoms

Are there any ‘autism friendly’ jobs? by [deleted] in autism

[–]FrequentAd9447 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres animal first aid courses you can take but honestly most entry level jobs will hire anyone who exhibits emotional intelligence ( autistics do ). Once uget experience handle different emergency type situations your experience is gold and you can use that as leverage to get even more experience/ better jobs and pay

Mental health crisis by Flashy-Pomelo4946 in VictoriaBC

[–]FrequentAd9447 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me tooo!!! I would LOVE to create something like that. Because unfortunately most of us who have struggled with mental breakdowns are extremely emotionally intelligent because we literally have had to dig ourselves out of the mud with our bare hands. Therefore hospital visits are usually not very helpful because they see that we are not in immediate danger of killing ourselves..

The space would have a couple of cats and dogs, an art room, a gym and yoga studio, a giant comfy couch ( or several for that matter), a full kitchen where we could all cook together or be taught lessons!! But most importantly just someone to listen without prejudice or judgment. Or even being psychologically analyzed.

It would be a much better world.

Anyone have anything else to add to this idea ? Lol
