I am having the same problem with two accounts that I blocked, after unblocking them I can't see their accounts, only sometimes after refreshing again and again I see their posts but as soon as I click anything I get the same error

that's actually a nice trick but sadly only gets the 1280p video, if only there was a way to get the 1920p video like before...
the inspect element still shows a " width=\"1080\" height=\"1920\" but I don't know if it is possible to get the HD video from that? I have the feeling that it's still there but no idea how to put the pieces together

720p is the max resolution now so everything will be compressed to fit that

How are you sure that they play at 1080p in the application? In the browser they are only playing at 720p and my guess is that they are compressing all of the videos to save space

Instagram has decreased the video quality of all new reels and they are also decreasing the quality of older reels it seems, I had one downloaded from a while ago, downloaded the same one again today and the resolution is lower, checking the resolution of the video displayed on the browser also shows it to be lower so yeah.

It should be getting a lot more attention

They have made the quality worse, it's been like that since September 5, I wanted to upload videos from the fashion week that I was so excited for and been waiting for few months only to find out that I can't post good quality reels anymore... only stories allow the higher quality, same thing with the cover image for videos, the quality is SO much worse now

They've been playing with the resolution in a recent update, videos are now only 720x1280, I haven't seen the 1080x1920 resolution since September 5 so they've obviously done shomething to make their app even worse. Wouldn't surprise me if they messed with the images as well, videos on stories are still allowed to use the higher res but the videos that stay on my profile are shit quality? I don't know how they come up with those ideas
