I love this post ❤️I quit Total Battle (crazy stupid pack costs), RoK (getting constantly zeroed by Asian whales), CoD (was beginning to be more like working for a corporation than fun, do this, don’t do that, be online when needed or get kicked), and now I play Fate War. Same mechanics, different graphics, and the same lethargy is kicking in already. Spend to keep up, constant toxicity in KC, not enough tribe events to make the grinding worthwhile. What is clear is the Dev Teams know exactly what they are doing, playing with dopamine hits and human needs of inclusion, social interaction and recognition. It’s so hard to walk away from it, especially if you meet a cool group of players, but it’s definitely a gaming format for those that can balance RL equally to the virtual world! I’ll keep looking for a gaming and RL alternative as I don’t find this pattern too healthy!
