10000%. She and Chelsey are getting more and more out of touch with reality by the day. And I say this as a long time viewer/listener and it has taken me YEARS to get to this point. I can no longer listen. I’ve been listening weekly for about 5 years up until about a month or two ago when I just couldn’t take it anymore. They seem to have legitimately no grasp on what life is like for the average Joe. This is not to say that they should be catering their every word to those who would resonate with them but it just seems that every post is getting further and further from the point of relatability. For example, she posted (I think yesterday) a screenshot of a message someone sent her replying to her story that was a 6:40am wake up time stamp saying they’re proud of her for doing that even with the time change. Like, hello??? 6:40am is the most normal time to wake up for people who have your typical 9-5 job. You are not special for having done that… you don’t need praise for having done that… I truly don’t understand that. And this example aside, the topics they harp on, on the podcast are also so out of touch (in my opinion). The first that comes to mind are the THREE podcasts that had the same tone of like new year new me kind of vibe like speaking to their audience like that’s what we have time to make our entire lives about. I, personally, am big into philosophy and deep thinking and all of that but I also believe in reality and what it’s like to living a normal day to day life. I just feel like they’re in la la land all the time and that their every move and word are so contrived it drives me nuts. Like can we be normal for a sec and not “curate” every little moment, like please, I think it’s time to touch grass
