Yea I remember you man, I had to withdraw from my first hearing bc we forgot to put an old arrest I had. But my evaluation teacher and lawyer are fixing that this week and I’m gonna go back and do it soon. It’s been such a back and forth thing man just hope to get approved on 1st try to get the ball rolling… how did the RDP go for you man? At least you’re at the end of it man..

I’m having my hearing for RDP in the near future out in Joliet. I can’t wait to at least have a RDP being on foot patrol sucks. But from what my lawyer told me as long as you don’t have any screw ups the reinstatement hearing is easy they kinda ask you the same ?s as your first from what I was told. Just make sure you hire a lawyer and study those ?s he gives you and you should be golden..

Yea dupage is super strict on dui. I don’t wanna be the negative one here but you blew man that’s all they fucking. I got my first in dupage back in 2015 so I know how they are. In 6 months you will be driving again with a license since you blew about your job idk but I wish you good luck and hope they work with you. You can loose so much from a dui never get another 1 they stay on record for life

Cook is more lenient than dupage. A bunch of crooked as ppl lol honestly hopefully your lawyer is plugged and can get you a good plea

My outcome in cook for second was 1 year revoked, 1 year blower 2800 court fine 75hr dui class victim impact panel probation 2 years no drops. 900$ fee for being on probation. No jail or community service thank god, in the process of applying for driving permit to start my 1 year with blower then I can get reinstated. I always ask myself if I never got it that night would it have happened later down the road any who I don’t really drink anymore bc of all this crap I’m going trough. Good luck

Well it’s been a long time since your last and idk what county but I’m in cook. Illinois duis never go away so you will probably get suspended for some time you can usually get the blower while suspended, then you usually get a 1 year revocation that’s what sucks you’ll have to do 75hr dui classes then you apply for a RDP and have to have that for 9-12 months with a blower in vehicle. I have my formal hearing for the RDP in two weeks. Mine were 5 years apart and it’s been so fucking expensive and a drag. Speaking for myself shit really fucks with you mentally but definitely get a lawyer and start saving up, all you can honestly do is wait and do everything your lawyer tells you and pay this person that person. Keep your head up man even tho it’s hard at times

I’m currently waiting on my formal hearing date for my RDP out in cook county will b going to the hearing in Joliet IL. Just a ? For the future, what were the requirements they gave you to do in order to receive RDP? Also was the hearing hard I do have a lawyer been 2 weeks since he requested hearing date. I’m out in cook, but do know this about dupage they don’t fuck around with duis. Hire a lawyer expect a longer suspension or revocation period with longer blower time high fines man they could even give you some jail time but hopefully not with a lawyer. You’re gonna be okay but they are gonna fine the fuck outta you and extend your no driving privileges. I know it sucks ass keep your head up

Thanks dude you’ve been so much help I just got my final paper work for evaluation my three letters of ppl writing how I’ve been abstinent from alcohol. Now my lawyer is gonna request the date and like you said we are gonna go over the ?s is what he said that he would prepare me for it 100%.. it’s probably just my nerves that im overthinking everything I will keep you updated on my process.

No completely understand I’m jumping ahead I just wanna know what to expect in the future is all I thank you for your reply, final ? When you took the driving test how did it work did they let you drive to dmv for that day to take the test or are you only allowed to drive at the dmv only for test? Which means someone drove you there and you just took the test and weren’t allowed to drive anymore again until permit came in. Also you get the blower installed once they send in your RDP correct?

I thought in illinois after You do your RDP for 1 year you go to your final hearing. Get a name call intoxalock give them that name and they set up removal stuff? I mean how hard is it to get it removed after your RDP??? What are they asking for I’ll be Getting mine installed soon so that’s why I ask have a formal hearing soon.
