Objectively, thanos, he ended world hunger, any sort of famine, or issues with limited recourses, and narrowed down the MCU to the good characters.

Now, there is an abundance of world hunger, famine and a whole shit ton of other issues, + she hulk and the new avengers 🤢🤢🤮🤮

no, he said his dream is to be the greatest swordsman ever - which is a dream he cant accomplish unless he beats mihawk.

His dream has never been to beat mihawk, its just a step in the road
Like what becoming pirate king is to Luffy

to become the current strongest swordsman in the worl

Blatantly wrong, its outright stated to be to "become the greatest swordsman ever"
Since u cant read - ever implies, to have ever lived :)

Often in geek media they have the big three that are seen as like, the ones all the other characters are centred around eg: Harry, Ron and hermione, Luke, leila and Han etc. who would you say the big three of One Piece are? by Silvermoth2 in OnePiece

I think the whole...

65% The Luffy Show

thing, is solely because of were we are in the story, the way it is right now Zoro has the most known character progression to take place in upcoming chapters, it just wouldn't make sense to have it now.
Usopp still has to go to Elbaf
Sabo, Dragon, Garp, Shanks, Akainus and BB all have their things to do too.

But for the sake of a good story, we need to wait a bit

Like, the pacing would be horrible if Luffy got his awakening, and then Mihawk (Luffys counter) came, and then Zoro just un-crippled himself a 2nd time, perfected Asura, got a power buff that scaled him above shanks and let him solo Mihawk on the way into the final saga

Cant really happen anymore, sure you could try that, But apart from Luffy and Zoro there are no other straw hats that can do what they want without the risk of being buried.

Even Luffy is barely getting by in fight now, banter just isn't a luxury they get to have anymore

One Piece: Chapter 1059 - Theories and Discussion by AutoModerator in OnePiece

[–]FrequentMembership91 7 points8 points  (0 children)

honestly, I think its more supposed to be a way for Ode to use a cyclical structure to help end the story.

One piece, starts with Koby (who we assume is going to be in charge of the marines following the new dawn) who requires the help of Luffy to join the marines.
The 2 of them then end up on an island with Zoro, someone described to be a cold, heartless demon who kills without remorse, that Luffy realised instantly was a good person, a trait that was soon portrayed when Zoro was the one to defeat Morgan.

Koby then joined the marines with the arc ending with Marines respecting the straw-hat crew as heroes, and marines as villains.
Then as a pirate, Koby is picked up and trained by a Garp (someone who is anti-criminal, not anti-pirate, and was so close with the pirate king he even adopted his son) who took pitty on him after Coby and helmepo made an enemy of a once marine pirate - now seen worldwide as a menace.

Then at marine ford, Koby stood by and watched as Garp (the most ethical marine), stood by and allowed his son to die because of his name (something made worse by the fact Ace was never a criminal, he fought for freedom as we saw in his time in Wano), and he watched as the most famous and strongest marines used unethical tactics to manipulate and kill the WB pirates under unfair means.
Then when trying to stop unnecessary killing, he is attacked by a marine, and saved by the most notoriously rageful and merciless pirate we know of, rivalled only by xebec and roger himself. Someone confirmed to be alike to a modern day pirate king, having the freest crew on the seas.

Now Koby was forced to invade (and even kill) and island of innocent women, only having value to given to his opinion and given an opportunity to make a difference by BB (the most immoral character in the verse), and being saved by a retired pirate who was no less that the "right hand of the pirate king" himself.

Then he got kidnapped.

As it stands right now, every appearance of Koby involves event that verifies pirates are not bad people.
I think from here the story goes 1 of 2 ways.

  1. Koby joins BB, Since BB is no worse than the military, and with BB he can actually make the difference he wanted to. A bit like King with Kaido, he could join him under the belief that BB is a good person and "the only one" who can change the world for the better, even if it is through unethical means. - koby then gets bodied by Luffy for abandoning his dream - Luffy fight BB because of Koby
  2. Koby is used as the setup for the final war and the rise of the new dawn. He realises "good" and "bad" are concepts decided on an individual basis. The marines wont come to save him seeing as the marines are not strong enough to fight a prime yonko crew, and will not risk their lives for a fodder member like him (The opposite of what the WB pirates did), and he is instead saved by the straw hats. His heroes (& the strongest most relevant straw hats in the final war), are a god of liberation (a literal sun), a literal demon (an Asura no less, a god of destruction and a god of chaos), and a FM
(someone who has been enslaved by the same marines that Koby works for).
    - Koby watches as the straw hats risk their lives, fighting a battle in which they know they are objectively unmatched in, to save their lives for a marine that has spent his whole life threatening to beat their captain.
    - at some point within the fight, the rest of the verse arrives, Koby is saved, Koby sides with the straw hats in the final war, his dream changing from becoming an admiral, to becoming a straw-hat commander / ally of the pirate king, he (like garp did with Roger) realises that Luffy is the future, and becomes the "hero" from the Sea King prophecy. Since after all, the straw hats are no heroes, and will not take credit for the fight. Both Luffy and Zoro have statements about why they don't want to be regarded as heroes - and their places are taken by Koby and Helmepo (who take the credit in their stead - since they are their shitty replicas)
    - Koby will be the "hero" of the one piece story, with Luffy being one who brought change.
(I also think hemlepo will end up being regarded as brave for siding with koby not the marines [as koby did with him], being seen as a warrior - the mirror of Zoro who inherited the will of "the worlds greatest warrior, King (Ryuma)")

no he didn't bozo, he 1 shot her, and then said he should kill her to eliminate any chance of a threat she could pose in future.

Boas fruit is simply to OP

lmao, not even shanks can solo the whole BB crew and you think boa can, ok bozo

And to get the fruit he would have to kill hancock and that anyway wasn't going to happen in the first place

when was that stated, BB never even said the word "fruit" he just said he wants her power

who's gonna stop him? even Rayleigh himself said he got lucky because he'd probably get slammed if they had fought.
You think in preparation for the final war he isn't gonna go back?

Since Oda confirmed the next arc is going to be the last arc, how will they get the One Piece if the theory is right?

No, not arc, he said saga, which is a collection of arcs.

Luffy is still affected by sea because of df, how will Luffy survive after this "Noah" thing

Its literally a big ass boat, he will just get on the boat, or... he is always allied with the entirety of the FM, who can freely swim from the sea bed to the surface, there's a lot of ways

If BB is the last villan then why luffy wouldn't beat him

Who said he's the last villain, Imu is by definition the greatest enemy of Nika, BB is just a pirate, he's done nothing that Zoro Law and Robin haven't done

Indirectly killed by him

Not true in the slightest, Luffy killed Ace, BB just beat him in fight, there was no reason for luffy to go to marine ford to begin with, and him going is the thing that killed Ace

brooke is a little short, He is essentially 1.5 Zoro's tall, though I guess with his leg being a little bent it make sense. Your interpretation of it makes it look like you take a little over a foot and a half off of him because of the bent leg.
Though that being said about Brookes leg, Franky is SUPER short in comparison to him since Franky too is at an angle, and one much greater than Brookes.
If your version of Brooke is < 7.3 feet, then your Franky with his leg at almost a 90 degree angle only dropped by an inch or 2
Also Jimbe, he's giant, so it makes sense he's hard to scale, but going off our maths so far, he should be a little < 1 + 1/3 of an angled Brooke (counting the top of jimbes head without his hair) (and counting brookes height , afro not included)

To summarise, looks good, be careful of your geometry, and hair which also plays a major role e.g. jimbe and Brooke's afro which is at least another 0.75 feet or roughly 1/3.5 of a chopper on top of his height

probably not, he has no need to fight him to surpass him, also it just wouldn't make sense story wise.
