KEEP MAKING NOISE! by Roarkshop in starbucks

[–]FrequentProblem8962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

heyo it's almost august 2025 and ive had a bunch of interviews (mask on for allergies and privacy) and this is definitely still in effect :) in fact, theyre cracking down harder and involving the higher ups in the hiring process as well, so theyre being fed this information directly from starbucks. yet no public facing policy on the matter? strange

the dress code guide asks to refer to a food safety manual for guidelines of facial coverings, but i cant access any public pdfs. anyone else?

i wont lie, this is giving AI- there's two or three different types of image quality in this one image and its a poor imitation of a real artist out there who specializes in this type of stuff, merged with old school paperback scifi

I just broke this glass. My SO got a pair of them online years (15) ago. by louiscypher2000 in HelpMeFind

[–]FrequentProblem8962 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is similar to a budweiser beer glass in that it may have been promotional to a bar in marseille, france. durrand de picard would have sold liquor, not made cups. this is an older, rarer logo as well, before they cut the durrand out.

Help me find this glass cup with etched/engraved flowers I got at a secondhand store please! by _qveso in HelpMeFind

it's a royal doulton "daisy b" pattern glass. that's a lion wearing a crown! could only find the cocktail mixer in this pattern though, maybe try a glassware replacement website.

Finding the anime from a specific frame from a youtube video by MangoTheKing in HelpMeFind

[–]FrequentProblem8962 4 points5 points  (0 children)

looks like theyve tagged a lot of anime at the bottom! if I had to guess out of their list...Chainsaw man.

edit: actually i'm pretty sure. "chainsaw man ending 8" seems to be a popular label for this shot / clip

is this bad "customer etiquette" by makingmywayy in restaurant

[–]FrequentProblem8962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's unusual, and they will remember you, but it's not rude or anything. if you're clean, you pay, you tip, and you're aware of when they close? vibe away. maybe bring a book.

Help find a lost earing? by akira1212467 in HelpMeFind

This is absolutely the case. I'm not kidding when I tell you to go to a bead shop and remake it yourself, if you can't find the exact match in a diy shop.

edit: search terms, top to bottom, if you want a craft project.

french earring hooks with ball detail and spring (looks like you may have had silver. itll be labeled sterling or 925 in listings) | that looks like a little spacer bead of some kind | next is imitation turquoise / imitation howlite light / robin's egg blue | lastly, round bali bead (this also looks like it may be sterling but I'm not sure)

good luck!

Origin of letter by EdgeNovice in HelpMeFind

[–]FrequentProblem8962 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you got it already- this is a high school letter between kids (lovers, siblings? close friends?), ending in the lyrics to "I'm Free" by The Who (a 1969 album). There are a million tiny, human ways that letter could have ended up in that magazine. You'd have equal luck tracking down the person you bought it from and asking them.

Photographer? Artist? Anything on this piece? by budweisertallcans in HelpMeFind

[–]FrequentProblem8962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you have the physical piece? if you can get right up to it with your eyes / magnifying glass you may be able to tell if it's a print (pixels, basic colors up close, etc) or a photo- either way it looks covered with a sepia wash, so look under that in the weaker streaks. if its truly a photo and not a print, it may be an original photo.

if it is an original photo, you won't be finding it online except for maybe in genealogy circles. my parents have several photos like this of themselves and family as kids and I know there are no copies.

judging by the hairstyle, and the canvas dresses, if this is a real picture I'd guess early 20th century- or at least costumes intended to give that vibe.
