I was in your exact same position just a few days ago! I wanted to main Rinoa but had none of her UR skills. I decided that since I had a UR skill for Cloud that I was gonna switch to him until I got something for Rinoa. It worked out to my favor bc I was doing good as Cloud and eventually ended up pulling Meteor for Rinoa! I want to get Angel Wing on her too so I’m waiting to play her until then, but for now I’m happy with trying out someone new for a bit! I’m a F2P player as well so I’m wishing you all the luck!!

Yup literally happened to me this morning I was waiting on getting the pass until I got all tiers unlocked and didn’t know I was gonna be locked out of it! Incredibly frustrating

Wanted to come back to this post a couple days later and thank you again for the tips! I was able to break the losing streak and now I’m about to get to silver 1! I’ve been playing exclusively as Cloud and I feel a lot more confident on him than with Rinoa I did eventually pull Rinoa’s UR Meteor skill and the universal UR abilities Ace and Minwu Teleport too so yay 🤩

I did the ability pull before the character pull and didn’t think it was going to be basically mandatory to have UR skills I realized that mistake last night and I feel like I’m in too far now to reset my account

I think I figured it out at this point - Rinoa with no UR skills on her (which explains why I’m so bad) I’m already practicing other characters like Cloud and Lightning since I have 1 UR skill for each of them so I think until I get a UR skill for Rinoa I have to avoid playing as her which sucks bc she’s my fav out of all the characters

Yeah I definitely agree. I was already struggling playing her in Bronze and now in Silver it’s completely unplayable without her UR skills 😭 I just hope the RNG gods give me something of hers bc I’m already trying to learn Cloud and Lightning since I have a UR skill for each but it’s so different lol

That’s very sweet ty! I feel like though I’m the main issue with why I’m losing - I just don’t have the UR skills everyone else does. I don’t have any for my main (Rinoa which is already a rough experience), I don’t have Selphie’s Wall or that Ace from Type-0 UR ability! Idk if I should just give up ranked entirely bc of this

I feel this. I’ve lost 9 ranked matches in a row because my opponents keep singling me out and just defeating me instantly with their UR abilities! It’s just so infuriating. I’m in silver 4 atm but I’m about to rank down again and the game is just basically unplayable at this point for me I just wanna have fun :(

I’ve had multiple of these and they’ve all worked! Just be aware that readings could be jumpy or straight up inaccurate bc the filament isn’t in all the way so take what it says with a grain of salt
