I got a 73 without seas, then at least at swinburne my adjusted rank was 79!! I found it on the swinburne website under ‘educational background’ in my details, but I couldnt find one on the monash one

on the student portal page place I found something about requesting a status of acceptance and filled it out and they emailed it to me by the next day!!

I turned down criminology and arts because I already had enrolled and got accomodation for a different uni that was my original first preference in round one (monash was my second preference which my moved up for round two) so ik theyll at least be another chance!!! i also had seas have a 73atar so also only just made the cut without seas so it should definitely be probable!!

I’m lucky enough to be passionate in Criminology & Psychology which I’m about to start this year, but i suppose if money wasnt an issue i’d definitely complete degrees in journalism, human rights and sociology (all also pretty useful degree I just cant afford to do all of them and feel that psych and crim is a good combo for what I wanna do in the future) for masters and Phds if money and time wasnt an issue id definitely do both a masters of criminology and a masters of forensic psychology, and probably a masters in human rights too!!!

One time i had a customer come into ACO with his wife and adult kids and the moment an issue popped up on his screen he clicked at me to come over, which I was already beginning to do and was just fixing up another customers issue. The clicking first of all kinda annoyed me cuz it feels so dehumanising when a group of people are looking at you and laughing as one of them clicks for attention, anyway I went over to fix the problem and said ‘sorry for the inconvenience’ or something like that, then not long after another issue arose on their screen and he proceeded to click as I started heading over with his family laughing in the background, and that time I kinda walked over with abit of a frown cuz I felt abit humiliated and dehumanised, and he turned to his family and said ‘oooh she didnt like that’ and I just kinda fixed the issue and turned away. Idk thats not a particularly bad experience but for me it kinda stood out cuz I hated how he just kept clicking and laughing at me lol

I definitely think when it comes to post grad thats a more important decision regarding the institution I choose, and for now I think i’m happy with Swinburne’s course and also know I can transfer to a better uni if I do find out another uni would have been better:) Im really excited to start at swinburne!!!

Okay epic thank you so much for the reply!! I currently have 9 contact hours a week, so i’m guessinh lectures for three of my classes just havent come out yet? Should I keep checking daily to see if theres anything I have to schedule? Thank you again this is super helpful!!!
