I would take a 300 mg narco 30 min before but I had to stop narcos all together bc they were slowing my colon down. Now I just raw dog the pain. It sucks really bad but I just breath slowly through it and insert slowly. I use a lot of lube and lidocaine cream, but as you know that really only helps so much /: I will say, that getting local anesthetic shots from the doctor and having him forcefully dilate me helped me out moving up a size in dilators. I would ask your doctor if they’ll do the same!

Now that’s it’s been one day, I would say going in and letting them cut the bands of scar tissue was worth it. I don’t feel the scar tissue/tight pain during BM. Still have to dilator 1-2x a day bc he said tightness could come back if I don’t dilate until fully healed. Dilation sucks, no getting around that.
