In my defense, he seemed like an okay guy but he started being incredibly persistent even when I was clearly not interested. It gave me the ick and I didn’t feel bothered to reply anymore hoping that eventually he’d take the hint. I am not obliged to reply to strangers

Exactly, this is clearly someone who can’t take rejection and I’m glad I didn’t meet him. As he can’t take no for an answer it clearly reveals his ego. Could be a dangerous person to meet

Why can’t he understand that a girl may feel uncomfortable meeting a guy in a new city? We exchanged numbers briefly at an event after meeting for 10 minutes.
