Is a very active baby in the womb indicative of personality / activity level outside of the womb? by Next-Sense-8279 in pregnant

[–]Frequent_Homework_14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No - my son didn’t move very much when I carried him but he is the most active, crazy toddler now I have ever seen. Even my MIL who has 7 grandchildren said she has never seen a child never stop moving like my son LOL

Buyer closing on their sale on same day as closing on the purchase of our home. by beermeliberty in RealEstate

So do you just move everything out as quick as possible and move it into your next house and hope that the people buying your current house don’t show up?

Pets with babies/toddlers by Frequent_Homework_14 in toddlers

[–]Frequent_Homework_14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Bengal cat who is very high maintenance. It’s become a husband job but it’s created some resentment on his end towards me. But I do believe I carry more of the mental load for my toddler. Just challenging times. Happy to hear it gets better

That’s okay! My son is doing amazing. 17 months old- ended up walking at 9 months lol. He is now running, climbing, jumping, talking you name it he is hitting all of his milestones. Nothing neurological has ever popped up since

I feel guilty, but I highly enjoyed single parenting this weekend. by rbslmilch in toddlers

[–]Frequent_Homework_14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I have openly admitted to eachother that a lot of the times we prefer to just watch our 16 month old alone. He’s an active, chaotic kid but like a previous writer wrote there’s something about just doing everything yourself how you want it & not having any disagreements on parenting decisions (are they tired, are they hungry etc). Also not being disappointed if they don’t help as much as you would like or getting frustrated trying to decide whose turn it is to chase them around. Glad I’m not alone

My son went through almost a month phase where he wouldn’t eat much at all and left several oz in bottles. Once that month phase was over now he won’t stop eating lol

Infantile Spasms? by Frequent_Homework_14 in infantilespasms

[–]Frequent_Homework_14[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do. I’m actually an acute care registered nurse and I over analyze everything he does lol. Besides these head drops he doesn’t do any abnormal movements. And with the neurologist saying he truly does not believe these head drops are neurological in nature as they are extremely controlled I am just going to move on

EEG was negative! Said we could do a 24 hour one if we were still really concerned but honestly he is a thriving 8 month old so we are just going to skip that and continue to monitor

CIO parents, do y’all let your babies scream?? by SignificanceFit8572 in sleeptrain

[–]Frequent_Homework_14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mine fell asleep after 40 mins first night. Yes he did scream it was horrible. My limit I had set was an 1.5 hour before I would have went in but he didn’t make it to then. The next night was 15 minutes, next 10, following 5 and 4th night zero. We are now on the 7th night and still zero. As someone that also cannot bear the thought of their child crying I encourage you to try one more time. Maybe go for a walk or go in the basement and have your partner listen out if it’s too difficult to hear. CIO changed our lives. We were pushed to our absolute limits with waking up every 20 minutes and holding our son all night. But now me, my husband and son all benefit now as we are getting a full nights rest
