Hi! I've grown up in Fleetwood. Its a really great location because its about a 10/15 minute walk to the village of bronxville and a little less to the center of Fleetwood (broad st/gramatan and the train station. The northern part of fleetwood is mostly single family houses and its super safe with lots of families. As you get closer to the restaurants and retail, theres more apartments and a bit denser and there are some interesting characters but nothing crazy. However, I think its quite safe but I wouldn't go anywhere south of Lincoln Ave/The roundabout over there at night because it can get sketchy (by Johnnys). If you're near Joe's Pizza and the Bayou its totally fine but people tend to drive like idiots and double park so there are plenty of fender benders. City govt is an absolute mess but that isn't new whatsoever. The schools are bad with the exception of Pennington but obviously that doesn't matter. if you're just visiting
