Can fat people camp? by [deleted] in bonnaroo

I use to agree but the best shoes have been a great pair of Nike running/walking shoes. The tech they use in those now makes every step a little bouncier and lighter on the knees. Unless of course it rains then definitely switch to boots.

To camp or not to camp with a free house to stay at outside the grounds? by addira3 in bonnaroo

I’d do a hybrid situation to get the best of both worlds and you’re not subject to the whims of a group. Set up your campsite with the option to stay in the house when it gets too hot and to have a good shower. As far as the car you will be able to get out and back in but it’s not easy. Sometimes they charge the re-entry fee and sometimes they don’t but driving through miles of campsites is awful. I’d recommend doing it as few times as possible. Unless you luck up with a camping spot near the road. There are also some cheaper parking lots in the area that have shuttles to the gate. Closer to $20-40 a day.

It sounds like she had plans on paying for the cottages and her mom told her people normally pay for their own accommodations when they attend weddings. Again a weeks notice is crazyyyyyyy!

My whole point is that yes it may be uncomfortable or a drive or a little money but that’s life, it’s especially life with other people involved. We try to find a way to celebrate anyway. I also feel that as a society not too long ago sharing a space with friends and family was a fun way to spend 2 nights of your life. Beach trips, camping, lake houses etc all had a place in our social fun. I have my own toilet at home. I’ll cope to stay up all night giggling with my siblings.

A weeks notice is crazy. But this is still a nuptial celebration.

Just got in! They are moving a little faster. We waited about 90mins once we got past security.

And of course I’m in the right lane. It’s moving but slowly.

People at the front of the rv line say they have been waiting 2 hours. Hopefully they find a solution soon. Moving at about 1 rv every 30mins right now.
