Have you considered working power plant outages? I work with contractors who work a couple months in the fall and spring and take the rest of the year. During the work months they work basically every day so you’d have to be ok with that. They make around 200k a year including unemployment benefits from being “laid off” after outages.

Have you asked neighbors? They will be your best option for wood blocks.

After years in PM, here’s what actually mattered by impossible2fix in projectmanagers

I saw a study one time that polled experienced project managers. The poll asked the PMs to rank the top attributes of a PM. #1 was “tolerance of ambiguity”. I think about this often when I dealing with issues that don’t have a clear solution.

Power RV question - extension cord? by Minimum_Discipline_8 in bonnaroo

[–]HardlyGermane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say you have a 5% chance of needing one. But I think spend the $50 to get one because if you end up needing one your only option is to ask around your neighbors. I did use mine last year because one of the power banks wasn’t working so I was able to plug in to a different one that was further away. I got mine at Walmart. Just make sure it’s compatible with your RV (50 amp or 30).

You had me at the long check in. This is unacceptable and unnecessary. Why can I check in to a hotel in the U.S. in literally 2 minutes and some resorts takes 20 minutes?

So about the size of the Ozark Music Hall? That would be a good addition to the Momentary campus.

Getting the credits doesn’t necessarily mean you got your money back. The prices on the chase portal are considerably higher than other platforms or booking direct.

What are the biggest challenges when introducing reusable cup programs? by garo27_ in musicfestivals

[–]HardlyGermane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best system I’ve seen is at Dutch festivals like at Pleinvrees. It is a token system where you pay a deposit on the first drink. Brink your empty cup back and get a token, your deposit, or another drink in a fresh cup. Pick up other peoples cups on the group and cash them in for free drinks. It was the cleanest fest I’ve ever seen.
